It is best to understand that this is a "Wine Bar" in the context of being in a working class suburb of Leeds. And though the area is being gentrified by an influx of "woke" hipster types it might be best to limit ones expectations. It is more a bar than wine bar but this is not to denigrate the bar
For an old style pub it's clean which is always a good start. The bar lady was pleasant, and the food is good for the money you pay. I'd definitely return without question!
Quirky old fashioned pub. Great seating areas away from the bar to chat and drink. We had a great time. Staff polite and the pub was reasonably clean for an old style pub.

Went with my friend, we had a "special" lunch. Very nice small Dinner. Roast beef Yorkshire pudding cabbage and carrots. Thoroughly enjoyed my Monday dinner just enough , presented well. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again.
The food was simple Sunday lunch BUT cooked to perfection . Such great value for money . Lots of fresh veg and meat of three (I think?) choices . Lovely desserts too . Last but by no means least the staff were all lovely . We were served quickly and they couldn't do enough for us !!! I definitely re
Nice cosy little bar with great selection of wines and good bar. Service good, toilets clean and do good food I hear although we came at night. Found a cosy little nook with lovely lighting and great atmosphere when you are out with the girls.
Don't go for food , just a few drinks on Saturday night. It's a lovely pub ,good atmosphere and staff are happy and talkative and it's always clean .
