Great location, great staff, great food and a great juke box. Perfect for watching ALL sport with big screens and three sky boxes. If it's on, they show it.

Hyde Park Book Club is a nice place to read and hang out with friends. They have lots of books to choose from 📚 The only problem is the music, which can be too loud and make it hard to focus on studying unless you use headphones 🎧

Super cute place , vibey Had a vegan cheeseburger, very solid, definitely recommend to vegetarians and vegans and also meat eaters alike. They got a very nice spicy sauce. Very kind service, gave me a hot glass of milk off the menu just because I asked.

Came here for a gig and had a great time. The gig venue is down a steep set of stairs in the basement. I have a disability and walk with a stick and just about managed them but I can imagine it would be difficult for many ambulant disabled people. The staff were lovely and accommodating as much as they could be though, got me a chair and it didn’t feel like too much trouble. Drinks were good and not too expensive. A lovely little venue, a shame about accessibility but not sure it can be helped.

Love coming here for coffee or a bev - it is very tasty and always hits the spot, even if they could serve it to be a bit hotter !! My friend and I also had a go at the brunch, and got the vegan mushrooms on toast which was very tasty, though wasn’t substantial enough to fill our hungry tummy’s so we had to opt for sausage rolls after to satisfy our appetites! All very tasty, just would love a little more of it.

We visit every Friday whilst our daughter goes to guides, the venue is, I suppose, shabby chic. But the atmosphere is what makes this place special. It is worth adding that the whole place is dog friendly! We personally haven't sampled the food, but what I have seen looks good ( they cater more for a vegetarian/vegan diet )

Great place to sit and have a coffee. Morning brunch has many great options options. In the evening there is a large vegan and vegetarian menu selection. Seems to be the place to be for Uni-students.

I attended HPBC for a jewellery workshop in their snug. The atmosphere is kind and inviting, it's cosy and their hot chocolates are pure lush. It's much more than a book club, it is a gem of a location for anything, meeting friends, events, workshops. It's beautiful, quirky and cosy.

Great Leeds indie venue. Good for gigs. Beers are so so. Food is alright. You come here for a good gig. Great beer garden

Passing through for work, really enjoyed the vibe of the place. The food was rather good vegan fare, draught beer pretty good too. Best of all were the multiple performances happening on a week night! Reminicent of a US dive bar, don't expect polish (for example the loos are fairly bad if that sort of thing is a concern) - quirky, ragged and artsy is the vibe here. Overall very cool, will be back to experience more.

Awesome little venue. Thought I was gonna get kidnapped when going into the cellar!! Travelled 2.5h to watch a band here. Well worth it if you're into somthing different. Decent house larger too.

Good atmosphere, live music was here when I visited, really filled up. Good outside area also for sunny weather. Personally the food choice wasn't for me but not a bad menu overall

Great little venue. Band area is downstairs but rear accessible access is offered. Good opportunity to see up and coming bands. Food and drink available on ground floor. Parking can be an issue if arriving late

Super cool location. Reasonable priced drinks, we came here for a gig so just had a quick drink before hand. Gig space is niche, it is in the basement. Not a huge space but not tiny. Brilliant location, highly recommend a visit

Lovely bar, very Boho and student-y. I was down there for the first time for a gig downstairs. Loads of picnic tables outside for you to eat/drink al fresco, amd seating also indoors. I think the food there is quite popular but I didn't partake, myself. What I did see looked nice though. Staff were polite, and the beer was nice (not a massive selection for you beer fans though). The venue downstairs was pretty basic, but totally fine. The place is obviously aimed at a young/alternative/left field bunch and as such, this isn't a slick-looking venue. The jewel here is in the chilled vibe. I hope to be back there soon checking out another band, but with some food beforehand next time.

I've not been to the venue for a long time, though it was as expected a relaxed area offering, great customer service & refreshments, by the way the food is top notch.

Popped in while visiting my daughter at Leeds University, nice laid back atmosphere specialising in vegetarian and vegan food ( I'm neither) according to my daughter everything is responsible sourced using local suppliers.I had the " Homemade fiery beans on toast " they were really good 👍
