This was our first visit to the Stone Trough for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The food has a great flame grilled flavour, and tasted amazing. Lovely pub and lovely staff. Great atmosphere and service.really good value for money. We will certainly be back again very soon.
Stopped off unexpectedly en route to the airport. Lovely food. Fantastic value lunchtime set menu. And really friendly and welcoming staff. Toilets clean, place seems well looked-after. We had a great experience!

Good pub, nice food but short on selection of ale, only 1 IPA. Lovely bar staff made us feel very welcome. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian food. Even larger options for meat eaters. Don't get to the dessert but fair choice. Friendly staff, gave us good directions and we're friendly. Would visit
Your typical warm friendly traditional pub welcome. With good food and great service with a smile. I've been coming to this place now for over two years it just gets better with time like a fine wine. Jay is funny witty and just a really nice guy. Chell is just the best and constantly running around
Good range of drinks, not busy, so was served quickly. Very nice place, real clean and tidy
Usually get the set menu, which is nice, however went last on a Saturday when the normal menu is on, struck me to be expensive.. but got 2 meals, they came, we were surprised at the lack of food o our plate, so went home still peckish, I guess the margins are low these days, so is what it is.
Called in for lunch today for the first time in years. Atmosphere is brilliant and the decor is clean and stylish. The menu has amazing variety, and the staff were really helpful accommodating some of my strange food requests. It’s definitely better than your average pub grub, and reasonably priced

Superb mixed grill, served promptly and nice and hot! Great service by Jai, Amy and Charlie and cooked by Martin and Mike. Place was packed, highly recommend 👍
Pleasant staff, Good value especially before 5pm. Toilets are really clean
One of our meals arrived cooler than expected. It was replaced efficiently and with good manner. Replacement food was delicious as were the other meals. Definitely going to visit again.
Service was excellent,meal came slightly cold with certain items missing,pig in blanket and cranberry sauce.but under the circumstances very enjoyable.
We love to visit it is a treat for us .we have always have lovely food and really great service. As we have changed jobs this year and our visits are fewer we have especially enjoyed our most recent visit with our daughter x
