Amazingly we've been living near Barwick for 5 years, but this is the first time we've eaten at the Gascoigne Arms! And it won't be the last 😁. Really great gastro pub food, lovely service and a beautifully decorated pub/restaurant. Didn't think it was overly priced either, as nothing is cheap nowad

The gammon was thick, succulent and fresh. The maypole burger was absolutely delicious and juicy. Anne, t

Great friendly pub. Gorgeous food and lovely service too. Recommend the scotch egg starter, steak pie and ice cream sundae!
Called at the Gascoigne at the weekend after visiting the area with our our walking group. The service on a very busy Sunday was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Josie could not have been more helpful despite having to deal with such a large influx of customers. Thank you for making u

Highly recommended the staff food and ale was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble even putting the footy on for us on a Monday night!
Friendly staff very accomadating. Busy pub. Always consistent with food.
I already enjoy going to the Gascoigne and the baguette/light meals menu is tasty and good value. I took a friend today for Sunday lunch and I was pleasantly surprised just how good (and a both posh) the food was. Roasties and the garlicky, buttery cabbage nearly rivalled the beef. Andy
Our local pub, fantastic landlord, and lady, grate choice of drinks, just a grate place to go
A fine village local, with a brand new beer garden and a wide selection of gins and ales
Great Sunday lunch and refreshments after a very muddy circular walk from Barwick-in-Elmet to Thorner and back.
Lovely local pub with friendly atmosphere
Have been 3 times this week for Christmas lunch. Fabulous food especially the pepper mushroom with Stilton added. Turkey dinner delicious. Ann and Wayne with their team are so welcoming and always go out of their way to make it a lovely time, Happy Christmas to you all x
Friendly pub in pretty village location. Good range of beers and gin. Highly recommended
Attended my friend's 70th birthday on Saturday at this venue. The buffet was lovely and I would definitely recommend Gascoigne Arms to anyone having a celebration. Well done to the staff.
