The Loft is great.... they keep me supplied with coffee when I'm working. The cafe is a lovely environment and the food is all made from good quality ingredients and freshly made. The staff are really friendly and helpful and obliging. I go there because I work at the mill but i recommend it for people who want to visit a great cafe just for lunch or a cuppa.. .It may not be in the centre of the village but there is ample parking and a lift for disabled customers and pushchairs etc. Well worth a visit
Never been disappointed with the food yet and there are plenty of sarnie shops nearer to me, but it is so worth travelling the extra distance for.
Never had a problem with waiting times or the staff - very friendly and working extremely hard to build on their success since taking over.
On one occasion they were running low on stock which limited menu choice.... but guess what.... this isn't a multi-national TNC or a business supplied by DHL..... it is a local business, so the owner sent the head waiter out for more supplies... which is only natural when the place is so popular.
I wish them all the best and success and will continue to patronise the Loft.
If you want instant, pre-prepared ready food... this is not the place for you... try Greggs. If you want food and drinks prepared from scratch then this is the place to come to. There is a slight delay on food and drink.... but that is because they are making it... not producing it from under the counter or out of a box!!
Went today for afternoon tea and it was amazing! We are regular afternoon tea frequenters and love to try new places.....The Loft is hands down the best we’ve been to yet! The sandwiches had lots of filling, freshly homemade sausage rolls which were still warm and delicious cakes, flapjack and scones! The staff were really friendly and attentive and kept us well watered with lots of tea! Would defiantly recommend The Loft and we look forward to visiting again soon �
Called in today for a late lunch. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food and drink were just as fantastic and the place itself is very relaxing. Very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!
Popped into the Loft this morning Joy and I had a super delicious breakfast I must say the Loft is really nice super clean and airy but most importantly the food is top class and the coffee some of the best I’ve ever had and it’s only day 2 They plan to improve the coffee (that will be some achievement). Anyways if your anywhere near drop in and find out for yourself.
Staff is warm and friendly. They have a small area for children to sit and play, they even offered to warm up my baby food.
Great menu and the food is delicious. Nothing is too much trouble.

Made a trip out to The Loft yesterday.
One of the most well-presented cafes I’ve been in.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic.
I enjoyed a ham salad roll with ham which had been cooked by The Loft and hand-carved in beautiful chunks. The salad was fresh and crisp and the bread light and fluffy.
But the best part (as a non-chip eater) I was talked into ordering chips by my friend. I am SO GLAD that I did! They were fluffy inside and perfectly well cooked! I was amazed to learn that they were oven baked!
I will definitely be returning!
Afternoon tea was a delight. Freshly baked sausage rolls, along with a hearty selection of sandwiches, finished with cake and scones. Everything was lovely and the service excellent. My only comment would be that you need larger milk jugs to stop you having to replenish so often. Highly recommended.

Had a full English breakfast today from the new menu. Really tasty, excellent quality products - probably the best I’ve had!! Ordered some extra toast too as it was hot and buttery!! Amazing!!! We’ll be back for more when next in the area.
First visit after lockdown with my walking buddy. We had promised our selves we would have a treat the first time back out. It did not disappoint. Lovely lunch and very friendly staff.
