Great pub and great food, some nice beers on draught and you get plenty of good food on your plate, really enjoyed our visit,8 meals ordered and 8 drinks for under a hundred pounds?what's not to like,my sons burger looked delicious and the rest of us had Sunday lunch which was plentiful and not often
Good choice of beer for the beer drinkers in our party. Big choice of food. Great size portions and very tasty. Good friendly service too.
Definitely recommend this place. I travel alone and visited it late at night, and still felt there perfectly fine - great, genuine local experience, very nice beer and snacks, and a safe space.
brilliant value food and service if we are ever passing this way again we will call in.
Sorry no pics we ate it to quick ha.
Ordered the Garlic Kiev and 10oz ribeye stake, latte and a soft drink.
Really nice quaint little pub. Slightly dated but welcoming and has a pool table and darts boards. Decent food.
Lovely cosy pub with a fantastic set of staff and landlady. We went on pie night which is every Thursday. The pies are all home made with great hand cut chips.Great outside seating area which doubles as an events/party area which hosts live music.Voted pub of the year in 2016 it's well worth a visit.
Had a few pints of lovely cold lager. Food wise had steak pie, chips and mushy peas. Pie full of tender lean beef, proper home made chips. Very tasty. Will definitely be back.
It was our first visit to this pub and it won't be the last. We had a friendly welcome and the menu was the largest I've ever seen. As it was lunchtime my wife & I didn't want much to eat so we had the Spicy Crabcakes and a bowl of chunky chips. The service was good and didn't have long to wait. The
Really nice food, staff are lovely, it's a great little spot in the area and my favourite local pub of the closest ones to my house.
They have a massive beer garden for the summer and put on live entertainment as well.
A great community feature!
Great food, excellent portions and at great prices. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Music was just a tad loud though.
Great pie night on, lovely homemade food and the desserts were awesome
Came in here for a drink and a pizza recently (meat feast) and had a lovely experience. The gorgeous girl Niamh behind the bar was so lovely and really made the experience for me. Would come back again.
Get lost in Clayton Woods and find you own way Home via the Hawkie, via the Factories, pond's and the auld Quarry . Getoutofit firstly at the Bridge to the land of the God's. 👍😁👊🥂🤣
Lovely food. Great service. Doesn't take cash which is very odd for a working class pub in a working class area. This started during covid and I would have thought they would have got over it by now.
