Waiting staff excellent. Host failed to explain clearly why we couldn’t swap tables to the one behind us. Had he been clear I wouldn’t have been so insistent.

This is a great place to bring the family, but don't expect to walk in and get a table without booking as it gets very busy, especially on a Sunday.
The food is always good with a choice of 4 meats on the Carvery. The veg is turned over quickly, so there's always a fresh pot available.
The atmospher
I always have a pleasant experience here .Great food as always . Always hot and fresh when it's served. Very clean, Never any complaints in the many times I've been here. Prices are fair for the portions you receive. Toby gravy always compliments the meal well.

Had a fantastic Easter Sunday for 5vat this Toby Carvery. Food is always good, as we have been here several times in the past. Served by J Paul a friendly guy who makes customers feel welcomed.
One of the best Toby’s I’ve been to in a while. The food is excellent, the potatoes were especially tasty! The service was also superb from our server J. Paul.

Haven't had a problem with the carvery, it has always been lovely. Meat itself is cut a bit thin, but only paying £10 as a midweek price so makes sense.

Called on a Monday lunchtime - was pleased there was lamb on the menu. Nyla who was on the carvery was very friendly, Emily the waitress was prompt and efficient. Food good and plentiful.

Good points: Food was hot and mostly cooked well. Chose all four meats and the overall portion size of meat was generous enough. Unlimited vegetables was great.
The meat all tasted good as did the potato dishes, carrots, peas and red cabbage. The macaroni cheese was a nice bonus.
