From really friendly staff, very clean pub and amazing food, this is a great venue.
Fish and chip platter includes beside the chunky fish and chips, peas, scampi and a large battered sausage and a curry sauce. All cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend it.
We often come for food or sometimes even just a drink, The staff there are amazing, really friendly, helpful & always make us feel so welcome. Especially the Wednesday staff.

Ordered four different Sunday lunchtime meals off the menu and was surprised,pleased with how large the portions were. Very good value,would dine there again.

Traditional local pub, a good atmosphere, great staff and the usual food. Like all busy locals, it needed a good spring clean and paint which has happend, It just needs maintaining, but worth a visit if you are passing. Friday afternoons seems to attract some folk with bad language on their way home from work, doesn't bother me, but if you are taking children, have a think !
Lovely atmosphere nice pub. Food is amazing and quick to come out piping hot like it should be.
I ordered the steak and ale pie and it was mint, nice and hot and tasted absolutely pukka. Highly recommended is the meal.

We didnt eat tonight. But had drinks and enjoyed a social couple of hours. I was a bit disappointed that there was on orange mixer and the bottles are cheekily expensive. Other than that a very nice evening.

Took my elderly mum and hubby for lunch today food was very hot tasted gawjus well worth the money,and lots to choose from ,good parking and disable friendly staff so warming and helpful couldn't do enough for us would defo go again
A bit rough and ready dye to where it is located, but the regulars are the salt of the earth once you get to know them. Numbers are dwindling a bit now though as Greene King keep putting the prices up. Not by the odd penny, or 5p that they used do do just before a budget, then again after, but ten pence at a time, seemingly almost weekly.
I wonder if prices will go down as quickly once the "cost of living crisis" is over? Thought not. Shareholders have to get their dividends and CO'S their big bonuses. As be closed by then as numbers of regulars continues to dwindle.
Local pub with a great vibe. Outstanding service, tasty, fresh beer. Nice local people around.
The service here was welcoming and personal. The environment is relaxed and predominantly traditional. The modern touch is the variety of large TV screens mounted at various locations throughout the building.
The food was hot and tasty. The beer was cool and delicious.
There is a small free car park. Some entrance steps lead up to the bar on one side of the building.
The local bus terminus is only a few metres away.
The building is not easily noticed from the main road.

Ever since the refurbishment a few years ago it's now a great place to drink, eat & socialise! Great menu, food is so delicious for the price you pay. Loads of big screen TVs for the football. Top atmosphere & local for the Leeds games.
