It was really good - after trying and failing to get the food right at Black Sheep since they first took it over, bringing Slap & Pickle in with high quality burgers was a winning move. Shame that the new owners of the Black Sheep brewery literally closed the Black Sheep Tap and Kitchen down the day after we ate as it wasn't profitable enough :(

I'm not so frequent in going out these days. But when I do this is one of the places I love to visit. Great atmosphere, good beers and the big bonus, the staff are super friendly. A great venue in Chapel Allerton, long may you stay .

Great bar does great food and best beer in Chapel A! Slap & Pickle has joined the party - burgers have got better but veggie options MUCH worse. Bring back the Cauliflower wings!

Friendly place to drink and eat with large outside seating area that can be covered if poor weather. Good choice of ales and ciders. Only reason for down mark was a very small menu on Saturday we visited but food was of a good standard.

Had a wonderful time enjoying a beer at the pop up festival. A great selection of beers and unique atmosphere outside. Such an improvement from drinking here 2 years ago. Here’s to hoping the outdoor bar and speakers are a permanent fixture for the summer. It transforms the outdoor experience of chapel Allerton.

Great cocktails and regular 2 for 1 offers on them. Good variety of beers on draft and in the fridge. The food is always really lovely but I was disappointed to see that the breakfast/brunch menu has been shortened considerably. Last time we went for brunch it was noticeably quieter than usual - whether that's down to the new menu it's hard to say - but the staff are always friendly and very helpful. It's a good choice for food and drink in Chapel Allerton.

Good. Great selection of beers and other drinks, it's a nice a environment inside and the food although not brilliant is pretty good. There's plenty of space and you can book and it's dog friendly inside and out which is also a plus.

Went on a Saturday afternoon with the missus. 241 cocktails were strong and tasty. My ale was spot on. The menu is pretty varied and well priced. Our burgers were delicious and extremely decadent. Impossible to eat with fingers though. Only downside for me is the TVs constantly cycling adverts for stuff off the menu, and the music was pretty loud for daytime. All in all a good atmosphere tho.

Beer is the standard Blacksheep arrangement with two on cask, and a new stout (which tasted more like a sour). The slap-and-pick part was more of a letdown. Use to visit the two other sites in Leeds and here it just wasn't the same. We shared a personal cheesus and got a share of Big Mick fires. Unfortunately, the Big Mick fires were drowned in liquid cheese and lost never to be found. The burger meat itself tasted okay I'm sure it was different from before.

Pleasant early evening bite to eat, very friendly. Came with young daughter, loved the food. 50% off food on a Tuesday, not sure if that's every Tuesday. Quick easy meal out... In the sunshine too! Great deals on drinks

Good food - not massive selection though but was nice. Staff need updating on promos though as it was a Friday and prosecco was £17 not £23.. but a good night had!
