The Railway - Leeds - Photo album

We stopped for a pint after a walk along the river Aire. Service at the bar was swift and the staff very friendly. We sat outside, as we had two soggy dogs with us. Lots of people sat outside too. Plenty of seating and dog friendly. Child friendly too with a grassy area and sweet machines. Could do
The Railway Pub: A charming haven with warmth from both the crackling log fire and the genuinely friendly staff. It's a dog-friendly paradise, perfect for a post-winter-walk drink. The only mystery? The elusive Scotch Tart – a culinary enigma that even the locals can't decipher. A dash of delicious
Lovely little pub with a cosy beer garden at the rear. Whilst there I had a pint of Guinness and two pints of Inchs Cider and all tasted great. We will return again for sure.
First time eating here this week, it’s a regular stop on our walks along the canal but have never been for food before. I’m not often a big fan of pub food - I often find it too “try hard” or too “not tried enough”. The menu here is very simple, but the food is outstanding quality and incredible val
Great beer garden. Friendly dogs and owners Punctual service. Good food. The vegan chilli was very spicy!
Walking in the heat with our dog,we very much welcomed a pit stop here. It was also the first time we had been near a pub since summer 2020 My husband relished every drop of his pint, which incidentally they have a great selection of real ales etc Super beer garden and made very welcome Looking forw
I've been in here a couple of times before. Nice location. Walked the six or so miles from central Leeds along the canal tow path. Three real ales. Sandwich and chips lunch. Nice proper pub interior. Good outside seating area. Friendly efficient service. Overall a pleasant place for a post walk pin
Lovely pub. Me and my friend went in for a pint after our walk. Staff are friendly and service was quick.
Decent prices, dog friendly (even for my staffy who likes her space and no contact with other dogs, we could still relax and not feel on edge) generally visit early evening just for 1 or two ciders to wind down after the day. Very relaxed peaceful pub. Great pit stop if walking along the canal.
Nice oldie style cosy pub great to have a drink after a walk on the canal. Staff very friendly decent priced for a drink.
What a lovely early evening meal, all the food is homemade and really tasty, very dog friendly and we were made to feel welcome, The chef approached us for a chat and let us sample his curry which was excellent. The young lady from the bar spent time chatting to us in the beer garden. A really good
Great pub and a great atmosphere. People are nice along with the staff. In a nice location near the canal and overall a nice spot to have a cold one. The beer garden is well kept along with the side seating area. Nice pub especially if you're local 👌🏻
Nice traditional pub, dog friendly, reasonable prices. No longer does food.
Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere (especially when the sun is out). Seems very welcoming for families and dogs.
Good, honest Yorkshire pub. Great pint of Theakstone's Old Peculiar. The highlight for me was the beef and ale (Theakstone's OP) pie. Proper pie. Chef, who hails from South Africa is very proud of his pies. We weren't brave enough to try his All Day Breakfast Pie.
Cute pub to stop after a long walk or bike ride on the canal path nearby. Great outdoor area that’s very dog friendly. They also have a good area to park your bike out front.
Edited to add.... they no longer serve food but have not updated website. Friendly welcome, clean, good service, enjoyed a lovely meal. Staff maintained guidelines re social distancing and safety. Will return.
