Northern Beers and sells a variety of beer strengths ranging from Session beer to ,,, head scramblers.
Didn't have food and don't know if they sell anything other than bar snacks. Busy, but got served quickly and some had cocktails and I had beer.
Great bar, lovely staff, good beer selection, small but perfectly formed.
Nice intimate place full of character. Barman was happy to talk about beer and was good at asking if we wanted another once we were sat.

Exquisitely served pints of North's beer, and I mean perfect - presentation, glassware, conditioning, freshness + a friendly chat with the knowledgeable staff member. Beer gets no better than this.
Best of the North bars...they always have different North beers in and also guest beers. Great to call in for a schooner or two of strong beer before a curry! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, nice ambience, Oakwood is now a bit of a destination for craft beer lovers with two other craft beer bars open

Perfect little bar. Interesting North beers as standard plus a fabulous Verdant dipa today. Friendly chatty bartender, fridge full of classic 'craft' like chimay etc, beer buyer knows their stuff. Brilliant place for beer nerds like me, but nice bar for anyone!
Very lovely place. Bought a nice beer to take out but was pricey.
Great for a pint with outdoor seating but in winter will be harder to get table indoors especially with social distancing.
Pity closes at 10pm by default (so before all pubs had to shut at that time) as would imagine a longer night
I absolutely love this bar. North is an amazing brewery but Preston is my favourite pub. Great beer, great atmosphere, full of roundhay / Oakwood locals. Gotta love the vibes... I am there all the time now and open space the gluten free beer is the best on the market
Great bar with fantastic selection of booze. Staff are really friendly and anywhere that does table service should get more love I think. Very friendly bar. Lots of beers on offer - but no traditional ones. My partner likes a traditional pint so that's our only problem. All beers are blond beers tasting of 'cool and trendy' grapefruity hops etc.
Besides that its a great bar and has a mixed clientele of all ages.
Great, cosy bar in a lovely location. Good variety of beers and drinks. Just a little busy and cramped but I suppose that kind of adds to the charm of you like bars like that
Top bar but can get very full quickly. Relaxed style. Popular with dog owners. Most importantly very good ale. Have had hot snacks here which were excellent too. Recommended.

Just like the other North Bars, it's intimate and has great beers and friendly staff. People complain it's crowded but it shows the popularity and they do the best in the circumstances. The staff will always offer to bring your beers over to you on an evening.

Interesting range of bottled beers from round the world as well as local craft beers. Several varieties of wine and spirits. Nice atmosphere. Early crowd is older. As the evening progresses the average age decreases and the volume of the music increases. Dogs welcome.
