Really lovely place, food was excellent, really good service too despite being a really busy sunday evening, would recommend booking for a Sunday roast, fresh ingredients and a very generous portion, we had the pork and it was massive. Very effortlessly decorated, great atmosphere but very loud! Really nice touch in the women's toilets with complimentary emergency toiletries! Large car park attached to pub and gorgeous outside area!

What a brilliant, child and dog friendly place. Fantastic service throughout our whole visit and a great menu with a number of vegan options, including the most delicious carrot cake. All the staff we dealt with were amazing!

Really lovely breakfast! This was my first time coming to the mustard pot in quite a while as I don't live nearby, but it was well worth the visit. I really enjoyed my tasty breakfast, the poached eggs were done perfectly! The coffee was great too. Lovely food, friendly and efficient service, with a lovely atmosphere. We were in a quiet part of the bar but I noticed there were parents and toddlers there so it seems very welcoming to families. I will definitely go back, worth the 40 minute drive.

Came as part of a playgroup (Little Seedlings if you’re interested) with breakfast included afterwards. The food was great and all allergies were accounted for which can be a huge cause of stress sometimes. There was a well stocked play area that my 3-year old & his friend spent ages playing in and the vibe was really pleasant and accepting. No disgruntled looks or sly digs that you might expect in a “normal” boozer. A real family pub. I mentioned how nice it was and got a cheeky request to tell Google; so here you go.

Not local to the area, just passing by and stopped at lunch time for a quick drink & a bite. I was instantly impressed by the barman Haz, who offered me wine taster before making a selection. My husband also tried out all their Ales and was impressed by the selection. I had the roast pork sandwich, which came with crackling & chunky chips. It was yummy 😋 Overall a very friendly service and would definately visit again on our travels. Cheers🥂🍺

The MP has had a massive upgrade with Jodie as the new manager. We recently stopped in with a last minute booking for 6 on a Saturday and we felt so welcomed and accommodated even with our baby and toddlers in tow. We were treated so warmly by Jodie and her staff. The atmosphere is jovial and friendly, and especially family friendly which we love. Everything has improved immensely in the past few months - the decor, the drinks, the food, and the service. Shout out to James who has such great table-side manor! I wish I could remember the other servers names as well because everyone is doing a great job and they all seem to really value customer service. I’m so pleased as this is our local and it feels like home away from home now. Thank you to Jodie and all of the MP staff!

The food was excellent, and the staff were great. They were able to turn the music down on Friday evening which really helped my Mum hear what I was saying. An overall enjoyable birthday meal made better by the staff.

Went to the Mustard Pot to celebrate my birthday, we were a large group of 10 on a busy Sunday evening, but we were very well looked after and had a delicious Sunday Roast. The staff were very attentive and everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Thank you!

Really nice spot. My friends and I hired a private room and we all had a great time. My only issue was the Yorkshire pudding I got with my Christmas Dinner was tiny. My friend got a lovely big one, so I don't know what happened there...

Food really nice and atmosphere really nice and relaxed only slight downside was 1hour wait for food was possibly abit too long and once food arrived didn't all arrive together being a table of only 6 thought it could really have arrived together.

We had a fantastic night on Saturday! The host/man with the flat cap was really friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate me and 3 friends. Great music and atmosphere, very pleased to call it my local!

We chose the Mustard Pot for a joint birthday Sunday dinner and honestly it couldn't have been any better. Jodie and Mike were very understanding with last minute change in numbers and orders, and made sure we were all sat together. The food was delicious, the service was great, the venue is awesome, 10 out of 10!!

Great family pub, great choices of food for both our children and myself being a vegetarian yet still spoilt for choice! Since the pub implemented a beautiful play space, it’s become a weekly visit for play dates! Staff have always been friendly, helpful and ensure high quality of service - which always makes a trip out with children 10X easier!!
