We absolutely love coming to Sweet Saeeda for lunch in Leeds, we’ve been going for about 3 years now. The Tunisian plate (pictured) is amazing so much lovely food for such great value. And the owner is always so friendly and kind! Highly recommend ☺️
Extraordinary crispy Tunisian Brik with chill sauce and a salted chilli pepper. I like it and would recommend friends. Lovely! The chilli sauce is a bit spicy with a kick. Chilli pepper open your appetite. Tunisian Brik with chilli sauce is like the Spring Roll of Cantonese Dim Sum, but is with a mesh of meat, potato, cheese and spices like parlsey. I chose the lamb and I would say not bad. The favour of the potato with cheese is like a Cantonese dishes of steamed tofu meshed with meat (老少平安). The taste is good if you are used to the spices
As I see, the seats are not many and just outside the shop. But they will serve you with beautiful dishes if you sit-in. Good to try sit-in if you don't mind.
£5 above you can pay by card, or you may add one more drink or water.
Lovely little eatery run by the 2 nicest guys you'll meet. Interesting Tunisian cuisine varying from "mezze" style plates to a Tunisian Brik pastry (which I highly recommend). Cheap as well - £4 - 7 for a hearty lunch.
