Christophe made this a really solid 9/10 experience (I don’t give 10s!).
Proper service from someone who is clearly very experienced at serving customers.
The food and atmosphere were good too, but the service by Christophe was exemplary.
Can recommend the duck salad starter. That was exceptional.
Has definitely restored my faith in the Ivy, which had waned a bit of late.
Visited this morning for brunch to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We booked in advance and asked for a table that would accommodate a pushchair.
We arrived early, we greeted warmly and advised we could go straight in as our table was ready. We were shown to a lovely table with plenty of space around it to accommodate a pram and a high chair.
We had a delicious brunch. The food and drinks were very good. The service was perfect. All the staff were so friendly, professional and classy. They were so considerate of our 5 month old granddaughter and took time out of their busy morning to talk to her and make her smile.
The little birthday treat for our daughter was the icing on the cake.
It was a truly lovely family brunch. It has made my weekend.
Thank you very much. ❤️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
lovely experience here. the staff are kind and accommodating and the interior is one of the nicest ivy’s i’ve been to. the calamari was a little bit underdone, could've been a bit more crispy, but overall had great flavour. the chicken milanese was very tasty with a good portion and had a high quality egg, however, i wasn’t too fond of the sauce. overall would highly recommend and had a really nice time here.
MASSIVE thank you to The Ivy Leeds for making my mum’s birthday meal so wonderful and memorable! Everyone that works there is extremely kind, friendly, professional and your level of service is unmatched. Me and my mum came today and Lucia was our server (as printed on our bill) and she was so sweet and so was the other servers that walked past us! My mum was very very kindly given a “birthday cube” desert and a very generous discount on the bill, and honestly we have been regular customers in other restaurants and none of them have ever been so generous or made a special occasion actually “special” in the way that The Ivy Leeds did today. Huge thank you to Lucia and everyone there. Also was obsessed with the Champagne mojito and the mexican flat iron chicken dish! My mum’s favourite is the crispy duck salad and the chicken skewers, they never fail us. 😀❤️
Outstanding service and food. From the moment we walked in we had our coats put in a safe place, we were looked after by our waiter and the food my god it was by far some of the vest in Leeds for the price cannot recommended highly enough.
One of the oldest in Leeds
Well don’t believe all the hype! Food was nice, but reasonable prices give reasonable food… I’ve had better… I had fillet steak which was nice don’t get me wrong,, but it was just nice. Fried were extra, sauce was extra, it was literally just steak on a plate. Fella had a burger… again it was Ok. Nothing special. Chocolate bomb was nice, but I think it’s time to move on… everyone else does this now… find something of your own… waitress was ok… but forgot my drink… again… just normal.
Even the huge cobweb on the wall right by where we were eating was normal…
Oh… and the last normal service was that when I popped to the loo the soap had run out… x hey ho… glad to go, but better restaurants around…
We were here to celebrate the special occasion! Great atmosphere and kind staff. Enjoyed tea with lunch time 3 courses. They gave us anniversary cake for us, we didn’t know this and we were very happy about it!
Also there are some photos from afternoon tea as well.
A great place for a special meal, Amazingly tasty food, and price for food not too bad. Well worth having 3 corses biit not going too wild on sides. Just 1 side each e.g sharing chips and broccoli between 2. The best starter we tried was the chicken skewers and mains were truffle burger. And chocolate bomb for pudding. But all dishes were delicious.
I am a big fan of The Ivy restaurants in the UK. I have dined at this restaurant in Leeds numerous times in the past. I love the decor and the interior. It’s bright with vibrant colours and so instaworthy. Great vibes, great food and great everything. It’s a cool place to hang out with family or a group of friends. Customer service was fantastic.
A lovely restaurant in the centre of Leeds. It's presented as being quite posh but is reasonably priced for the quality of service. Worth it for a special occasion. I had a full English and coffee which cost about £19. My friend had the eggs benedict which was similarly priced and apparently also quite nice.
Our second Anniversary meal at The Ivy, and once again a wonderful experience. From tasty pre-dinner cocktails at the bar to an exceptional meal, (the venison starter was amazing), to a perfectly cooked fillet steak, always a lovely place to visit, fabulous service, fabulous food and can't wait to be back. Happy Christmas to all The Ivy staff and thanks again for a lovely meal.
First time being here and I must say that the food was very good. The service was good. For a 3 course meal the price was good though added up when having to add to it like chips, veg etc but came with a free glass of wine. Cocktails were good but a bit pricey. Overall however, will definitely be coming back.
1st Class Food & Service
The choices are amazing, the quality is outstanding!
Presentation was 'out of this World' 👏
The ambiance and decor was Magnificent!
Staff and Chefs alike are some of the most professional and courteous people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
All dishes were cooked to perfection and delicious.
A very special place to dine indeed, I will certainly be returning and hopefully soon.
Thank you all.
What a delight! We were just in Leeds for one night on our way home from Scotland and didn't know where to eat. Someone had recommended The Ivy and it certainly didn't disappointed.
It is owned by the same guy who owns The Ivy in London, and it is a class act. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. They look and behave as if they are really enjoying their jobs.
There is a calm, but buzzing atmosphere both lively and relaxing all at once. How do they do that?!
The food was excellent. Yes, it is more expensive than some, but, when you have finished, I defy you not to think it was worth every penny.
If you are in Leeds, try it if you can and I challenge you then to say it wasn't brilliant - you won't be able to!!
Always wonderful dining here on a special occasion. Even got a little treat for my birthday! Ordered the pastries although options were less variety than when I've been previously. But this was a minor thing and what we got was really tasty, we left very happy.
First visit to Ivy Asia and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The decor really is quite something, they've really pushed the boat out in creating a gorgeous setting to dine in. The staff are very welcoming and attentive throughout and the food was delicious, we didn't choose the sharing option that is probably more popular but only because of the different tastes, some not liking fish which features heavily on the sharing option. We chose seperate dishes, some large to share and some that were more individual smaller portions. The food arrives at different times as soon as ready, much like tapas. It really was so well flavoured and delicious. Even a visit to the toilets was a nice experience, the decor just catches your eye everywhere you go. Not the cheapest of meals but a very nice treat.
