Favourite cafe ever. After moving to the area last year it’s basically become my second home!
The staff are super friendly, food is bloody delicious (plenty options for my herbivore bredren) and just has an all round cosy vibe :)
Nice food and drink and worth a visit just to get a glimpse of the red Kites that fly about the local area. Grab a brew and some food and take a walk through Harewood Estate deer park perfect afternoon. Don't forget a camera.
Nice, lovely and small Cafe. We had reserved in advance for Sunday Roast. It was absolutely delicious.
Dogs are also welcome. Water bowl for four legged friends would be nice. :)
Love this place. We always call in when we're doing a walk at Harewood. Even if it's just for a cuppa! The staff are lovely and very helpful. Recently went with my daughter and my dog and couldn't resist the cookies they had. They were delicious,as was the hot chocolate!
Super place to eat before setting off on a walk around the Harewood Estate. Food is absolutely amazing and the staff so friendly and helpful. Can be very busy during lunch time so be prepared to wait or order a takeout. There is outdoor seating around the back of the property.
We had a really lovely lunch at Muddy Boots. The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, many of the other diners were rude and arrogant. Zero control over the behaviour of their children. I felt so sorry for the waitresses who were absolutely doing their best to serve entitled adults who need to learn good manners. Well done guys keep up the excellent work and keeping cool under challenging conditions!
Nice little stop off point when walking around Harewood House. Ordered a truffle egg mayo sandwich and a soft drink which was tasty. Service was swift and efficient. Outdoor seating available (including the option to eat indoors) with toilet amenities available. Slightly on the higher end (price wise) for takeaway but good experience overall.
Situated in a lovely place. Food and service really nice very friendly staff. Plenty of space between tables for dogs to rest.
Really lovely, peaceful atmosphere. Social distancing in place, all staff wearing masks. Great tasty food, we had the breakfast menu when we arrived and then a cake after our walk. Staff are really friendly and safety aware. Red kites around at certain times, what more could we want? Loved it!
Great and cosy cafe in a small environment. There is a walk just from this cafe car park so you can park there for the day for a small price and go on a nice walk in the great outdoors. I would recommend the teas and coffees and they were great, especially on a cold day to warm you up.
Can't get enough of this place. I've only ever been for breakfast, but they do lunches and "proper meals" as well.
The interiors are spacious yet cosy. The staff are lovely. The coffee is excellent (good beans, and a flat white is actually a flat white, rather than merely a small latte).
We had full English breakfasts, which were filling and tasty, clearly locally sourced meat (can't say the same for the beans, but who knows).
We usually take a cake away as well. I've not had alcohol there, but the selection is very decent. They've got Arran whisky, which is lovely, and some serious rum.
It's not the cheapest of cafés, but you definitely get what you pay for. Thoroughly recommended.
We chose the daily special. It truly was special with the chef who made the wonderful dish asking if everything was ok . On admiring one of the dressings I was offered more , so of course I accepted.
The coffees were also very good , in hindsight we should also have tagged on the cake and coffee offer which would have made a very reasonable priced lunch .
The menu board , unfortunately, has a table right up against it and this makes it difficult to view the board .
Parking was an issue because it is so popular .
We were also able to see red kites being fed and photographed outside from where we were sitting , an added bonus .
It deserves to do well because the people who are running it have a shared passion to showcase wonderfully flavoured food .
Always 5 🌟! Lovely, reasonably priced food. All cooked to order. Catering for a variety of diets and needs. Muddy paws 🐾 as well as muddy boots are welcome. There are also special events held on a fairly regular basis, including evening meals, as part of the Harewood Food & Drink Project. From here there are a number of stunning walks around the area. Some taking in part of the famous Harewood estate. You'll also get unprecedented views of the Yorkshire Red Kites.
Charming cafe. I’ve only had coffee here (very good) so can’t comment on the food.
Very dog friendly and a fab location for a walk.
Downside is the lack of parking here and all around Harewood. It does get busy and often the parking is full.
Lovely little cafe with great food at a reasonable price. Dog friendly. Good choice of food and drink with a daily specials board. Friendly staff
