May's Thai Malaysian Cafe - Leeds - Photo album

A lovely Thai/Malaysian restaurant. Close to uni, not very big with interesting vibe&decor. Good selection with a cheap price. The portion was not big. The curry my friends had were pretty good, a bit watery but tasty. The fried rice I ordered was flavoury. Considering the price it was worth the mon
We've eaten here twice and both times were delicious. £5 for any dish before 5pm I think which almost feels like a robbery. The Thai red and yellow curries have so much flavour. The Pad Thai always delivers. Generous portions and always had quick service
Had a very nice meal here. Spring rolls were really good and big choice for vegetarians and vegans. Also good service. Some of the food was a bit intense on the soya sauce and salt front though. We also tried two different banana puddings. The deep fried bananas were really good. Not heavy even thou
Fabulously authentic Thai food, lovely people, a great cafe & super value. Had lunch with my daughter & it was delicious. A big pot of Jasmine tea! 😋
Fat Friday again folks!! So thought we'd try this small family cafe serving up Thai/Malaysian food. We shared spicy fishcakes and steamed pork dumplings for starters, then had chicken pad prik gaeng and chicken chow mein for mains. Food generally was great, fish cakes were a little so so, but for th
Student friendly pricing where you can get any mains at £6 (12-5pm)👍🏻~ good portion. Nasi goreng tastes good… as a malaysian i can tell that the char koay teow tastes more like padthai and it doesn’t tastes anything like charkoayteow :( will visit again for their nasi goreng!
Really fantastic authentic Thai food. Doesn't look fancy but the food was unbelievable. Price is really good (£5 for any main before 5pm and it's a big portion too!) and even better it's bring you own booze. Pad Thai with chicken pictured
Lovely spot and lovely staff here, a home atmosphere cafe, very cheap price. 5 pounds for a main dish during lunch time. Ideal choice for lunch at school Authentic taste!
Been here several times before but this time round I got a Nasi Goreng, my go to meal. Love the generous portion and the student friendly pricing. Recently however, the quantity of chicken/prawn has gone down and I can only put this down to the rising cost of living. 4.5/5.
Enjoying a freshly made Nasi Goring fried rice dish and pork dumplings. Was lovely. Great price , simple informal setting next to Hyde Park and bring your own alcohol!
Can’t go wrong I had a lunch time special which was 7 pounds for a starter and main then ordered a Thai salad as well as two drinks which was only 15 pounds altogether tastey and cheap will be back.
Divine food. This is my go-to place anytime I want to eat nourishing and tasty food. I glow for days on end after eating here 🥰 They serve the most delicious, authentic Thai Malaysian food that you will eat. Even my daughter who is a fussy, and anxious eater loves it here. YES! YES! YES! Thanks Nans
Good tasty food, fast service and a pleasent environment which did remind me of being back in Bangkok!
Authentic, good food and chilled atmosphere. Super cheap and tasty with lots of vegan and veggie options. Had a vegan massaman curry with rice was very nice- would have liked a bit more spice tho. Will defo be going back😝
Whoa this place is an understated gem. I have no idea how I didn’t notice this place right under my nose for the years I’ve lived in Hyde park! The restaurant has a very authentic feel, the food is ridiculously cheap and fantastic flavours cannot go wrong here!
