The Thornhill, Calverley - Leeds - Photo album

Absolutely delicious food and cosy atmosphere!! I've eaten here about 5-6 times over the past 2 years and each and every time the food has been faultless. People who know me know I wouldn't say that if I didn't mean it. I went last night as I heard they'd had a menu change and it did not disappoint.
Always good food and a lovely pub to go to, easily the best in Calverley. We felt very welcome at the start. However, this time let down by slow service, though fairly understandable, given a busy Mother's Day. I think it is normally fine. Felt a bit pricier than normal, especially being charged ful
Amazing food, appears to have had a little menu update since last visiting (maybe 2/3 months ago) Photo: Gringo Sharing Nacho's - cajun chicken, bacon, fried onion & BBQ with cheese, salsa, sour cream, guacamole & jalapeños
Had a surprise 60th party here on a Friday eve for around 25 people, lovely atmosphere, food was great, staff were friendly and helpful especially the manager, really cannot recommend highly enough. Dog friendly too which is a big bonus.
What fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Thanks so much for making our Sunday dinner special
Called in for lunch Tuesday, amazing roast of the day sandwich which was Beef Brisket, was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. My wife had a Beef bagel which she also said was amazing. Service was fast and efficient, both girls behind the bar was really polite and helpful. Great place for a meal and
Delicious Sunday lunch in this quaint pub in the picturesque village of Calverley. However, the venue must be held to account for the eye-watering smell emanating from the gents' toilets. Sort this out and it would be 5-star all the way.
Met friends for lunch, and we ate off the senior menu. It was OK but basic. Think I'd choose to eat from the main menu another time as it looked very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Revisited my local pub from when I was a teenager /twenty something. It was sadly much altered. The cosy rooms are now a open plan and rather cold, very standard for a "modern" pub. The food was standard pub fare, very acceptable but nothing special.
There were 2 real ales on when we visited. The food wasn't up to much and was expensive. We waited for 45 minutes for our food to arrive after placing our order. There were 5 of us, so suppose we should have expected a wait?
Nice pub dining venue but the meat on the Sunday roast was very thin. (Pork) It didn't appear to have been carved from a roast that day. I may be wrong.
I ate there last night food was excellent its good to eat in a place where they don't pile food but concentrate on putting a well balanced flavoursome dishes. And i had some room for pudding so i had the sticky toffee pudding which was delightful. Its really fairly price too . Will come back very so
Wednesday lunchtime, amazing food very tasty. Lovely staff well worth a visit.
First time visiting today to have a meal with my wife and 1 year old and the food was great, the customer service was spot on and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely experience. There for a double birthday celebration 🎂 and they couldn't be more helpful. Top notch.
Food amazing all fresh produce. Service second to none! will definitely be back again.
