Decent chain, makes a change to Thai, Chinese and Indian street food.
What to order: Com tam, an amazing ginger sauce, with rice and chilis
When to go: lunch or dinner
What makes it unique: Pho (the Vietnamese beefy broth)
1) Ambiance (0.75/1) : A part of the Trinity kitchen - it is neat, spacious and does attract quite a few customers. My friends suggested this based on their previous experience of chicken and rice - they had loved it.
2) Food (0.75/1) : I ordered WOK FRIED CHICKEN NOODLES served with a sweet chilly sauce in vinegar and some sprouts. The quantity was generous. Well cooked chicken - not over powering any of the sauces. The noodles were just as soft as it needs to be. The crushed peanuts on top added another texture to the whole dish - making it even better for me!
3) Service (0.75/1) : I was served within 10 mins. They give a phone-like black box that vibrates and goes red when your order is ready!
4) Innovation and Technique (0.5/1) : My friends and me - we really enjoyed what was served to us. Known for its Vietnamese cuisine, this place definitely has something that they can call their very own!
5) VFM (0.75/1) : One wholesome meal about £6 in total. I was happy with that. There might be places with better VFM but I am yet to explore them :)
Amazing Vietnamese street food. This place does great Vietnamese food - I keep ordering far too much each time I go because I can't choose between my favourite foods.
I especially love the cafe su da - iced coffee with condensed milk. A favourite from my trip to Vietnam and tastes as great in leeds as it did out there.
I would recommend any of the dishes on their menu - I'm trying to work my way through them all!
I ordered for spicy curry veg, and it lived up to my expectations. The food and staff were both exceptional. It’s a must place to visit for Vietnamese food. Shout to Izabella and Maddie for their amazing and friendly service.
It was a cold day in Leeds, and we were in the mood for a warming bowl of Vietnamese Pho making our decision easy to check out PHO Vietnamese Street Food at Trinity Kitchen. We ordered the Summer Rolls and the Pho Chin. The summer rolls were probably some of the best we have had and the dipping sauce was balanced and not too thick. As for the Pho, this was very underwhelming. Not even the condiments and extra greens could save it. The broth was bland and did not have the depth we were expecting. The brisket was also very lean and ended up being stringy when we ate it. We will maybe return to try the other menu items.
Last Saturday I was eat for my lunch Spicy Chicken soup with extra greens. Food was recommended by lovely Izabella, who was serving me on the till.Busy shopping centre , but food was bang on & quick.
Great dish to eat for this cold weather.
Ordering our food with my daughter was easy and quick. Staff are nice and always polite, always smiling. Food is incredibly tasty and delightful. I'm always happy wuth these nice dishes.
I'm not big on Vietnamese food so I was a little apprehensive to eat here when it was suggested by my friends. I was also concerned that, for how much I was spending, the portions wouldn't fill me up but I very much enjoyed the curry I bought and found I was satisfied, even without getting a starter. We had a quite large group of 9 of us but the staff were very competent on how to attend to so many people. Our main server Chelsea and the rest of the staff working were very helpful, especially considering how busy it was.
Visited just before closing so not all options available on the menu, which was fine & totally understandable. Had 1 chicken and dried shrimp fried rice and 1 beef fried noodles & a portion of meatballs. Food was lovely and tasty, fried rice quite spicy, but still lovely. Staff were friendly. Would visit again.
We tried the tofu n mushroom wok fried noodles, and the spicy tofu vietnamese curry.
The noodles were one of our favourites and they're so fresh and there was amazing crunchiness and chewiness to it.
The curry was a new trial, and it was creamy, spicy, and had the best mix of textures.
maddie recommended a chicken rice bowl and it was delicious. thank u maddie would definitely come again
