I never bother with reviews, but I have to say something about this place. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming, the restaurant itself is so relaxed and peaceful, the cocktails are heavenly, and the food is indescribable. I’m here for the second night in a row and I’ve definitely found my new favourite restaurant. 100% recommend to everyone.
The lunch menu was fantastic value for money. The food tasted amazing and having been to other Thai restaurants in Leeds I would rate this more than other ones in the area. The atmosphere and service was excellent too. I would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant.
Highly recommended, great food and excellent service, the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite, plenty of choice in food. An excellent night out with friends, we were well looked after, our only concern as a group was the uneven floor where a raised tread rail was a potential hazard and health and safety risk as the Thai ladies kept tripping on /over it and could Injure them or potentially customers also. Please fix this ASAP.
I am the worlds fussiest eater but this place certainly impresses me , the food is consistently beautiful , I have never had a bad meal here and I've been going now for a year , I've even been 4 times in a week ! Love it can't recommend this place enough
I joined my daughter and other family members here to celebrate her birthday. It was a Monday teatime and very quiet. We had starters and a main meal each and everyone agreed the food was excellent. Well cooked and very well presented and the service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Thai food in attractive surroundings. There us a comfortable covered outside area that should be a nice place to enjoy a drink, or even food, in the summer. I'm surprised it isn't busier for the early evening menu.

Our first visit yesterday evening will not be the last. The restaurant is friendly, attractive and comfortable. Our food was excellent with generous portions. The staff are efficient and helpful. Free off street car parking nearby.
I would just like to say a massive thank you for today we put an order in at just over £100 and it was ready in 30 minutes and all the food we had was stunning it made our day complete we normally go for a curry but though we would have a change definitely going again xxx

A bit expensive for what it is (menu online is not updated). Fish is £17.99, which is a bit more expensive and smaller than other Thai restaurants, noodles is £8.99, a bowl of rice is pretty expensive - £3.65 (can’t remember exactly but more than £3), thai milk tea is £3.95.
From the moment you enter it is clear that service is at the heart of this amazing little restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff friendly and professional and such a unique theme/feel to a very comfortable dining experience.
Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. the price does not reflect the quality. Really Delicious at extremely reasonable price.

Thai Sun is UNREAL.
Id say that out of all the takeaways I’ve ever had it’s the most consistent by a mile- and we’ve ordered from here pretty much every week for the last 2 years, It’s THAT good.
I’ve never even remotely had an order messed up or lacking in anyway and that’s rare for any establishment to follow through with such consistency.
We have eaten in the restaurant and absolutely loved it- food really fresh, attentive service without overbearing and all super friendly. Admittedly thought I do tend to grab takeaway more often, only because I work in hospitality so like to eat at home.
A really really nice touch is that once you’ve placed your order online, they give you a call back to confirm it and give you accurate waiting times so you’re not sat around guessing, not seen many other places doing that at all! and the delivery drivers are all super nice too! Again, rare 😂
As I say, working in hospitality it’s easy to see where there’s system errors or service issues, but honestly I have nothing negative to say about Thai Sun whatsoever or its staff. The chefs even take the time to clean the prawns properly 😅 and you’d be amazed at how many places don’t! They all clearly care and take pride in what they do.
They deserve and have earned every star.
Give them a try you will not regret it!

Wow! We ordered a take away for collection from Thai sun. First of all, let me tell you this is the best meal I’ve had in 2024 (maybe 2023 but I can’t remember half of them). The meat on the ribs was so tender and everything was packed full of flavour. I feel super lucky to have this around the corner. Beats any other Thai I’ve had over the years comfortably. They even threw in some free chicken satay. Thank you so much team at Thai sun. I cannot wait to bring my family over for a meal in the restaurant. Which is beautiful btw!

Had takeaway. Which is why I didn't rate the atmosphere. Food was great! The lady said that it would be 50 mins for delivery as they were busy and she was exactly right. We have had several meals in the past and all have been delicious. I would definitely recommend the food either in the restaurant or take out.
The portions seemed smaller than last time but the price was the same. The curry portion was really good with added tofu into it. I wish there were more desserts as after spicy food it would be nice to have something sweet too.
Beautiful food amazing staff. One thing that puzzles me is they say they can do all good gluten free, which I find hard to believe. Anyone else’s gluten free that has visited?
