After deciding to go for a meal somewhere different than the pub my mum found Morenos on google! We ate from the early bird menu and I must say the food was absolutely beautiful, the service was excellant and very friendly and great prices! I would deffo reccomend ��
Vistited this lovely place a few times. A very welcoming place. The owner is very hospitable and a very generous portion. The complimentary drink at the end is a very nice touch and I would eat here again for definate. The owners family are also very friendly. Talking all things Leeds United with his son. ☆☆☆☆☆
Morenos has a welcoming atmosphere,it is very modern inside and also has a nice area outside.I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed the food is amazing the portion sizes are good and reasonably priced very nice place

All I can say is steak steak steak steak steak steak steak steak. Can you guess what I ordered. Great friendly atmosphere trouble is when you get a meal you love every time. It's hard to order something different.
Visited Moreno's with high expectations based of a recommendation; and i must say I was not disappointed. I had the harira soup starter with the lamb tagine for the main, I also tried the couscous with vegetables that was again very tasty. The hospitality was second to none with the owner being very charismatic and welcoming to me and my family. If you want great Moroccan food with a great atmosphere this is the place you must visit!
The food is beautiful and the service is outstanding, very friendly and made us feel welcome.

A real find in East Leeds. Not the best location for an excellent Moroccan/tapas restaurant but well worth a visit.Lamb Tagine with Apricots and chicken couscous with chickpeas and raisins. I recommend Morenos restaurant to everyone

A Moroccan Gem of a Restaurant. Tucked away near Templenewsam in East Leeds, Moreno's is apparently the only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Yorkshire. And what a fabulous restaurant it is!! The owner, Hassan, is warm and friendly and always happy to stop for a chat. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the food is superb. Everything is freshly prepared, cooked to order and the taste is to die for. I had the garlic mushrooms, beautifully cooked in a creamy garlic sauce, followed by an individual lamb kefta sauteed potato tagine. I was given the option of mild or spicy and opted for the spicy version which was simply outstanding. Hubby started with the chicken Moroccan style kebab with salad which looked so inviting, I could have happily taken it from him and dived in myself. This was followed by the chicken tagine with raisins, onions and almonds. It looked fantastic and I was assured it tasted better than it looked. This was all washed down with a couple of beers, one of which was a Casablancan lager which Hassan suggested I try and which went surprisingly well with the tagine. All in all, a fantastic dining experience and one I can't wait to repeat. I'm especially looking forward to booking for the Sunday Tapas for a tenner offer.

Literally just come back from the best night out I’ve had in a long time!
We arrived early and were seated straight away and the staff had the menus ready and drinks at the table in mere minutes. Honestly, it was that quick!
We had a mix of tapas/starters and a main and each dish was a culinary delight. Seriously, I couldn’t fault a single part of the food. It was what you hope for from Michelin restaurants: homey atmosphere, good food and staff who are there at the drop of a hat. I wish I’d taken pictures of each dish because they were presented beautifully and you could tell the chef had put a lot of effort into getting it just right and the flavours, my god the flavours, they were mind blowing.
I personally recommend the Steak Diane because that was truly melt in the mouth gorgeous and the peppercorn sauce was divine. I haven’t had peppercorn sauce that good since Hard Rock Cafe was still in Leeds which should give you a clue as to how nice it was.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that can cater to a variety of tastes, makes sure everything is as you like it and are friendly and cheerful to boot, I can’t recommend Moreno’s highly enough.
10/10 will be back again and will be telling all my friends and family about it because this is truly a hidden gem!

We visited as a family group after a day out at Temple Newsam and enjoyed the food very much. They catered well for 12, including children. Friendly staff.
We visited Morenos this evening and had a superb meal, Calamari and lamb skewers as starters and Lamb Moreno for main with ice cream and coffee to finish. It was a very good experience. The food was exceptional and the service was first class throughout. We were greeted and warmly welcomed, through the evening Moreno and his young waiter were kind and attentive and above all welcoming and friendly. It was without doubt the best meal we have had in a long time. Thank you everyone at Morenos
Came here for my dads birthday, food was delicious!! Can tell all freshly made. Had the patatas bravas and the penne moreno and they were amazing, really good portions. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming again.

This is such a lovely restaurant. There is an extensive menu so there is something for everyone and there are different spice options which is wonderful. When the food came it was fresh and hot and tasted incredible. The young server that was working welcomed us with warm greetings and was incredibly attentive the whole time we were there. The staff all made themselves available for if we needed anything. It was a lovely experience all round.
Amazing food! Compliments to the chef! Hassan and Jamal are a credit to the restaurant.

Back again to my favourite restaurant, as always it didn't disappoint. I had the chicken a la morrocain and it was delicious, I didn't even need a knife the chicken was so tender. Jamal and Hassan are great hosts, always polite and friendly. Hopefully back soon to this family run restaurant.
