We were in here last night for Kalam’s 21st Birthday - 1st time and I was rather impressed! The food was lovely & authentic & tasty, the waitress was attentive ..... the chef(owner) was on hand & very good at what he does with the gift of the gab! Strange place to choose to open this little gem but good luck for the future & bravo !!!

Not a big foodie type but best eating out ive really enjoyed for awhile. Steak was to die for & service was top notch. All must try, pretty amazing

Had Great night for Birthday , 18 of us had different starters and mains every thing was hot and freshly prepared good quality I definitely would recommend Sambuca . The atmosphere was excellent the owner came out and had us all singing and dancing x drinks a little pricey but we had such a good time we didn't mind paying.
What an absolutely brilliant place! We came for my Mum's Birthday and all got the 3 courses for £11.95, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant. The chef kept popping out to make sure everything was ok and kept our 4 year old entertained- cannot recommend enough! Will definitely be back.

Brilliant night last night for my granddaughter's 18th birthday. Food and staff made it a night to remember. They made it into a real party mood with chef and waitresses dancing and singing with us all. Will definitely be going back.

I grew up in Armley and have heard some great reviews about this place. Even still, a bit of snobbery probably took over with me thinking ‘how good can a restaurant just off of Armley Town Street be?’.
That was soon put aside, wish I’d have visited sooner. Service was fast, very friendly and informed and the food was excellent.
At £15.95 for 3 courses, it puts to shame a well known restaurant where I paid near enough 6x more than that last week for two people. The food at Sambuca was undeniably better too. Will most certainly be returning.

Three positive review cliches, but they are very well deserved and cliches for a reason. Great food, great service and very well priced.
The atmosphere was lovely and the 3 course menu offered great choice.
We didn't know what to expect before our visit.
Although some of my friends recommend the place and spoke highly about it, I was still a bit reserved as the location isn't amongst the most popular ones in Leeds.
You can't fault the service. The waiters were very attentive and helpful.
The food itself was alright. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't gourmet quality. The portion were big though!
The best thing about the restaurant was the value for money. You get a 3 course meal for £11.95. There's no other place in Leeds where you can get a 3 course meal of that quality for such a small amount of money.
For sure we'll come back again. Maybe not for an anniversary or a birthday dinner, but a casual meal 😁

Can't complain at the price 2 course 15.95 Mon to Friday bargain. Lovely tomato garlic bread. Typical Italian at a good price.
Place is a bit unprepossessing, but it's clean (checked the toilets!), service is faultless and the food is superb. Great value for money too - highly recommended.

Good food great atmosphere. Staff are brilliant we were a table of 8 and all our meals served at the same time, if your taking advantage of the meal deal then make sure your hungry as the portions are large. Definatly be back.

Absolutely amazing , staff and food are second to none , highly recommend the steak . At 20 pounds it’s well worth it as it really does melt in your mouth , we’ve booked for Xmas dinner and absolutely can not wait . Top class dining out .
