We were stopping locally and decided the pub looked good for tea. It was lovely!! We booked a table a hour before dining. Catered for our 2 children really well with a smaller portion option on selected items. Our kids chose burgers and they were a perfect miniature of an adult portion - Brilliant!! Our food was lovely too, staff lovely and very attentive!! Thanks.
Found this lovely place on Google maps en route to a driving experience. The food was fantastic and so reasonably priced given the fantastic quality and freshness. The staff were friendly and had very good knowledge of the menu. This is around and hour and a half drive from where we live, but very much intend to visit again.
Small but more than adequate menu, love the fact that each dish has a recommend wine. Food lovely, staff welcoming , setting comfortable yet chic . Will definitely be back
At only half a mile away we are delighted that this is our local since we moved to South Milford. Excellent selection of drinks - something for everything and great 2 for 1 cocktails offers. The food never disappoints, decent portions, excellently flavoured, local produce, innovative menus, focus on good tasty food without unnecessary pretentious frills. Good prices. We come here at least once a month - the only downside is that we don't have the willpower to avoid having a 3 course meal - the menu is too tempting!
I really cannot fault it. I had a wonderful meal, all three courses could not be faulted, loved the atmosphere, loved the fact it's dog friendly (don't have one but I love them), staff were lovely and efficient, beer was spot on. Just 10/10.
What a fantastic French Wine night. Every wine paired excellently with the wonderful food. A gastronomic delight (I don't really know what I'm talking about but it sounds good). Loved the food and the wine. First class service, even making a special effort to provide me with a non-fish course as I don't like fish.
Wow, simply incredible! We went for the Yorkshire Day tasting menu and we were blown away. An incredible amount of thought went into that menu and it was alsi incredibly good value for money. Can't wait to go back for more!
A right little gem of a pub. We visited on a very busy Sunday evening and enjoyed excellent food which was very well presented. The staff were very polite and friendly and the beer was good too. We will return �

Me and my partner went for a late evening meal on Friday 29th July.
The customer service was outstanding!! Extremely welcoming and helpful.
Food was lovely, I chose all 3 of my dishes from the specials board and my partner chose from the menu.
All food was great ! Cooked , presented and served beautifully.
The place was decorated lovely and had a relaxing atmosphere.
Toilets were very nice too which I always find important. Decorated very stylish and essentials available of needed.
Next time we will go earlier so that we can enjoy some drinks outside
Perfect time spent at the Real Ale festival
This was the second time my partner and I visited The QOTTT and we weren't disappointed.
Real Ales in abundance and a good ticket system. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us.
The food, yet again, was so, so tasty. We had the best ever Mackerel Pate. It had a Cider Gel on it and little cubes of Rhubarb within the gel. Also devoured with glee was the Lambs Liver that was as tender as anything.
The main course was a shared cheeseboard that, unfortunately was lacking a bit of freshness e.g. Grapes
But, all in all a great time was had and it won't be long before we visit again

Great for a few drinks and a few nibbles. We got a few starters to share but haven't yet tried the mains. Lovely country pub and good atmosphere. Very cosy when they put the fire on in winter. The owners are extremely welcoming too.

I love finding a country pub that gets the details right and doesn't just rely on being quant. Met some friends for a drink and whilst we didn't eat the menu looked good and the food coming out looked fabulous. Definitely returning to eat next time I'm down that way
Sunday dinner was class. Nicest ive had in a while. Staff where lovely and service was fast.
A member of our party had mobility issues and whilst the pub has some different levels so its not perfect for those with wheels, the staff where very accommodating and made sure we where looked after.
Really impressed with their Sunday dinner. It might be a quid or two more than you find in other pubs but it's absolutely worth every penny. Every aspect of the dinner was excellent, including quality meat, good Yorkshire pudding and roasties, portion sizes were good and they brought out extra gravy and cauliflower cheese. Staff were lovely and accommodating too. GO AND VISIT!
me and my partner’s FAVOURITE pub!! the staff are always so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. it’s always got such a cozy atmosphere, it’s normally quiet too even when it’s busy as the pub itself is pretty calm.
there is a wide range of beers and bar snacks, their cruzcampo is GORGEOUS and as are their pork scratchings. me and my partner really enjoy their Guinness too! :)
their food is delicious and well priced for what you get. their sausage and mash is one of the best i’ve ever had, their onion gravy is simply delightful 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Very good quality food. Meat is sourced from Sykes Farm in Whetherby, which is basically a way of saying our meat is as good as its gonna get for the local area.
Excellent roast dinner with just the right amount of vegetables. There's also a decent selection of specials on the board which all sound amazing.
My family live in different parts of the country from Newcastle to Worcestershire and anywhere in between .. We decided to meet in the middle ...Yorkshire , The Thack responded they could host our Christmas family gathering.17 adults 3 toddlers. We had an amazing time ...We had the Christmas menu ....lots of choice the food was delicious ,the service was amazing , Adam & Yogi hosted brilliantly ...would definitely recommend visiting this place . We will be back next year ..thank you all .
great little bar, nicely done out, decent background music (country heat), chef stayed open late to accommodate us ordering late, food bang on !

Cracking steak and ale pie with mash and mushy peas. Good portions washed down with a nice pint of Saltaire Blonde. We'll return.

Food was excellent and hearty. Very nice quality and just the right amount of food for a grown man (I did get the large 😂).

Traditional pub with lots of options of drinks. The food is outstanding! Had the steak salad with chips and would highly recommend this. Perfectly cooked steak, home made chip and the salad was very tasty with a lovely dressing. The best I've eaten us a very long time. The new landlords are extremely friendly and welcoming as we're all the staff. Highly recommended.
