so lovely! cozy cafe downstairs and upstairs there is quieter seating- dog friendly too! order at the bar and the service is very quick and everyone seems friendly. ran out of lamb on our meal so we settled for pork- just as good! the roast potatoes i’d personally give a 4-5, not super great or memo
Lovely little place, worth the walk to find it. Had my 1st ever Yorkshire pudding burger! Huge, very tasty and vegan options too, the chips were delicious. Wine was really good also. Very much recommended.
Really nice place for breakfast. Great coffee and full Yorkshire and Vegan breakfast. Smashed avocado on Vegan breakfast was excellent. There is a full bar with draught beers too but bit early for that this time. Great service and helpful friendly staff
Stopped here for brunch on my trip to Leeds. It's a 5 mins walking distance from the Leeds coach station which is very convenient. Excellent food, good portions, and quick service. The place looks a bit run down but it has a cozy ambience! Slightly on the pricey side but the quality of food compens
Fantastic little establishment. Big enough venue to get a bit of an atmosphere and it not feel overcrowded, small enough to feel nice and cozy. Stopped here for a drink and a bite to eat and wasn’t disappointed. Good selection of beers and other alcoholic drinks plus selection of hot drinks, the cof
If you like Yorkshire puddings then I'd say you have to try this burger from Wapentake. The truth is that you can definitely find a better burger elsewhere, but I believe this is something you should try at least once. It was something new and different, and I thoroughly enjoyed. It may not be my go
A great restaurant with food that’s exceptional and is great value. I was pleased with the Yorkshire pudding burger special (chicken with Stilton and bacon). The service was a little slow, though servers were friendly and trying their absolute best, it felt they were just a bit understaffed for the
The food was really nice and didn't take long to arrive. The staff were very friendly and it was a good atmosphere. The decor was very unique with lots of beer mats stuck to the walls. They had seating inside, upstairs, outside on the front and back so they really do have space when you think it's f
The Home of Yorkshire Pudding Burger, it s a cosy little cafe bar in the heart of Kirkgate Leeds. Warm and welcome staff.
Lovely gem of a place. Pub style looks, laid back cafe/restaurant vibe. Vegan and gluten free requests all taken in the stride of the staff who are very friendly, caring and welcoming. Menu a bit different, check in advance, great tastes.
We stopped in for breakfast sandwiches and were rewarded. Fresh bread, delicious bacon, ripe avocado, tasty sauces. Friendly staff. Loved the vibes of the place too. Great place!
Great food and drink, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
I really liked the idea of a burger between Yorkshire puddings. It's really messy to eat with the gravy.
A fantastic hidden gem that gives a great taste of proper Yorkshire food! The food tasted great and the service was perfect. There is a good selection of delicious food catering to a wide range of different dietary requirements.
A great little pub, with good people, good vibes and good food. Would certainly go back next time I’m in Leeds and need somewhere dog-friendly to eat and drink.
