Absolutely outstanding. Tonight was our first visit to the Leeds City Centre restaurant, after visiting the Harrogate and other one on the outskirts of Leeds. Never fails to disappoint. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, lovely staff and very reasonably priced. Our new favourite place to eat. We can't recommend highly enough. Xxx

For me it’s best Thai food in Leeds, excellent service and the staff are so friendly, tentative and stunningly presented. The food is always delicious and the menu has a big selection but whatever you order its always good. Can’t wait to come back on my next visit to leeds. (Chapel Allerton)

The food was delicious very flavoursome, we had a platter to share for starter between 3 of us which was amazing and our main courses were as equally good. The service was brilliant and felt very personal the lady that served us was so friendly and the food was served quickly. All in all it was a lovely experience and would definitely go back.

Visited Sukothai in Chapel Allerton for a lovely Sunday lunch, beautifully decorated restaurant very nice ambience, lovely staff in gorgeous traditional Thai dress, the food was divine and the buffet was also impressive with fresh fruits for dessert options and vegan dishes too. An old favourite of mine for Thai dining.

Chapel Allerton was the first of what is now a successful chain. The manager is the same one as when they launched 15 years ago and the very high standards hsve not slipped one tiny bit. Possibly the best Thai food for the price you can find in that mid tier dining bracket. Great setting and atmosphere too,

I am reading negative reviews and cannot believe it. Out with a couple of friends and chose the set menu. Could not fault a single dish. Would recommend to anyone

They've got it just right!

Having dropped my son off at Leeds Uni we fancied a Thai treat! unable to get in at Headingley we managed to squeeze in here at Chapel Allerton as long as we were away for 8.30 which suited us. We managed starters, main courses and even had time for a lovely mint tea! The food, ambience and service were what you would expect at most Thai restaurants & could only dream of elsewhere! Friendly, efficient and best of all lovely tasty food!

Tasty and good food. There is special and the standard menu. The duck dishes are amazing and well put together, probably our favourite. The noodle dishes are also as fresh and nice. Overall the vegetables and proteins cooked perfectly. There is a buffet as well on certain days. The staff were great. Street parking available nearby.

We came here for our special occasion. It was very busy on Saturday evening. Very kind staff and great service. All the dishes that we ordered were fantastic and would love to come back again. It is little more expensive compared to the other Thai restaurants in city centre but worth coming here. A lots of drinks options too!!!

Sukothai showcased an amazing display of not just some great mind blowing dishes but also heart warming hospitality. It was a very busy Saturday evening and we were a bunch of 6 who had mistaken a temporary booking request as confirmation. Instead of turning us out, the staff, specially a very sweet and a were very kind lady gave us a table. The food was so good and totally worth the embarrassment we caused ourselves. One of the best Thai restaurants outside Leeds city centre.

Came here for my little Baby Girl's 1 Month old Birthday Celebration. Had a fantastic time. The interior was different to the venue in town but it was still really nice inside, The food quality was the same it was great. Service was up to speed and great i know i definately left a big tip for service as well for the food.

Delicious food and lovely service. Very attentive staff. The dumplings and soft shell crab were deliciois to start with. The yellow curry was light yet delicately flavoured. The mango sticky rice was a perfect end to the evening.

Normally I'd give this place a 5 out of 5 stars, but my recent visit was a little disappointing. I had booked and had the proof on my phone, but was made to feel like they were doing me a favour fitting me on, so felt not as welcome as usual. The food is immaculate, but the only criticism I have is about the meat spring rolls: they are crisp and hot, but quite tasteless. I can only taste the vegetables, but no meat. It is like they are overfilled with cabbage, and if I wanted that would just eat veg spring rolls. They are not cheap, thus while I enjoy the crunch, I won't be ordering them again (shouldn't have to use the accompanying dipping sauce just to get some flavour to an expensive starter).

One of a small regional chain of Thai restaurant offers in Yorkshire. This branch has a semi-visible kitchen behind etched glass so the odd flare of gas flame can be seen from the dining area. Furnished with similar items of Thai culture and heritage as other branches, the menu is identical, with staples such as Pad Thai, green and red curry along with more obscure items and specialities. We sampled a traditional staple and speciality fish dish, both were great, but served with a very bland and uninteresting vegetable side we could have done without. Service was - of course - courteous and charming.

Fantastic Place this the food is very good the staff are on the ball & very polite. The overall layout of the place is good with a great atmosphere and what i like best of all restaurants we attend is the fact you can see whats happening in the kitchen 👍
