We returned to Leeds from York to specifically visit Rola Wala under the guise of a shopping trip! After visiting a couple of months ago we wondered if our memory of the food was affected by the rose tinted glasses, but it was equally exceptional! We were served by the same young man as last time who had talked us through the ordering process previously with patience and a smile. He was kind, warm and friendly and gave advice regarding what food best compliments each other when choosing the 50/50 rice bowl. I opted for red dahl and lamb and my partner had the beef and cauliflower. We both had 'the works' (all salads, paneer, vermicelli, yoghurt, sauces), a can of Diet Coke each and a bottle of water each. The portion size is huge, its fresh, tasty and although delicious you feel like you are still nourishing your body with goodness! For everything our bill came to less than a tenner each. Amazing. I just wish you could open a site in York! In the meantime, we will be returning to Leeds to 'shop' and will continue to tell all our friends about Rola Wala!

Rolls and rice bowls are delicious! A bit expensive for a normal workday lunch but great for a treat and it's cheaper and better than Barburrito and no more expensive than anything else at Trinity Kitchen. I always come here to get lunch if I am going on a long train journey. The lamb and beef 50/50 is really good, so good I keep getting the same thing even though I want to try the other fillings. A couple of times they have put coriander on when I have asked them not to but they have replaced the full bowl for me without me asking.

First time we've eaten here, or at trinity kitchen, it wasn't are first choice as we were overwhelmed with the variety of places to eat so just went to the first place we came to. Glad we did. We both really enjoyed the food and will definitely be going back.

Both my Sister in Law and myself had a rice bowl with chicken tikka and it was exceptional, the staff at The Trinity Centre in Leeds were very helpful as I am allergic to wheat and they all made it easier for me to order. I will definitely go back, would be great to have one in Hull!

First time been there today, ordered a chicken tikka roll was good but only thing I didn't like was that the guy put to much lemon on it so killed the spicy taste of the sauces I got put on. But apart from that good customer service, fast did not have to wait long and not bad for money.

Rola Wala started out life as a street food vendor gracing the streets of London and then beyond. They came to Trinity Kitchen as a part of the ever rotating street food vendors, then they obviously fell in love with us (as we did them) as they decided to set up their first permanent residence here! Since then Rola Wala has gone from strength to strength and is now set to open three more permanent sites in London.  What's with the name? Rola Wala translates in Hindi to "the man that rolls". RW offer eastern flavours in a street food concept, the wraps are made from lightly toasted naans and contain Indian inspired filings. It's nothing I've ever had before, it's in a completely different world from the Indian wrap I tried in a pub once ( see here ).  Picture courtesy of Rola Wala I met with Mark the owner, who is incredibly nice, cool and laid back guy, but also an incredibly busy and sort after person, and rightly so. The owners work with local and national suppliers and it was nice to get some background of what I was eating and drinking. They source their meat from Yorkshire suppliers the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company and are in partnership with Leeds brewery too.  That's Mark - I can hear you swooning from here - Picture courtesy of Rola Wala

Stopped here for lunch during our Christmas shopping trip. The rice bowl with butter chicken, salad and hot sauce was generous and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend it. My wife and daughter had a chicken tikka wrap, and they really enjoyed them as well.

Cannot recommend Rola enoughI’m a regular! Rola is my favourite spot in Leeds, wether it’s a quick healthy lunch, post workout meal or an evening craving, they are my go to spot! The food tastes great, is good for you and leaves you feeling full. My favourite is the butter chicken cauli rice bowl and the tacos! I visit at least once a week. The staff there are super friendly and I get my food within minutes. The concept of fast good food was unheard of to me until I discovered Rola Wala. If you’re ever in need of fresh food that is good for you, Rola Wala is the place!!

Easy and quick lunch here. Lots of selections from Naan Bowl to Rice Bowl. Trinity kitchen can get very busy, and you might not be able to get a table. Overall, Rola Wala is a decent Indian stall and should definitely check it out.

Food was great and staff were very friendly, kind, and attentive. I had the spinach saag and the chickpea masala (two mains with the second being only a £1 up charge), and all of the toppings with crunch, and yogurt/ hot sauces 🤤 it was very nice Indian inspired meal with so much flavor. Very filling and a fair price.

Been here multiple times, the chicken Tikka naan roll with the medium spice and the squeeze of lemon is exquisite! Also, recommend the butter chicken/lamb Rice bowl which have amazing flavour. The service is very quick as well, you don’t need to wait for more than a couple of minutes unlike other places at Trinity Kitchen.
