Absolutely fabulous called for lunch while shopping in Leeds said it was my birthday got free fizz and a beautifully decorated pudding plate with happy birthday and a candle The staff were donuce and helpful. Been to this one twice now and the one in York three times always fantastic and great value for money. Would recommend this to everyone. X

Treated my daughter to a shopping trip and she was insisting on a visit to Costa coffee, however as we walked past Côte I managed to persuade her into this lovely inviting restaurant instead! So glad we did! The service was impeccable and the menu all sounded so delicious I shall have to return! I opted for a light lunch of char grilled salmon with ratatouille and my daughter had chicken with sauté potatoes and bacon lardons. She had chocolate mousse for dessert - I had just a taste and it was the best I have ever tasted! Lovely friendly staff too - highly recommended!

Exceptional service! Gorgeous food, beyond reasonable prices (had the lunchtime/early evening menu). First visit there and will definitely be returning 👍 was so lovely they brought us a free glass of fizz and sang Happy Birthday to one of our party, without even having being asked. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Had 3 course set menu and asked for a large glass of white wine. When I got it it didn't seem large, I asked If it was, I was told it wasn't and got it changed. Had mussels to start, they were not very big but had plenty and they were tasty. The coq au vin was very tasty but chicken leg not very big. Had apple crumble for dessert, which was very tasty. I ordered a glass of champagne at the bar which was flat, I took it back and changed it. Which was fair enough but it shouldn't have been served like that the first place. Long wait between courses as well.

Impeccable service - staff very welcoming, knowledgable and helpful. Food arrived very quickly and was lovely (we had the sea bream from the lunchtime/early evening menu). Prices are very reasonable (2 courses for £11). We will definitely be going back again - it’s very handy for the Everyman Cinema next door.

Lovely restaurant, great food but just a little more thought ought to go into table arrangements for larger groups. There were only 14 of us and the restaurant was not busy but I found the service to be very slow. Our waiter tried his hardest and I can't imagine how the service would have been if the restaurant had been busy. Having said all of that the French onion soup was absolutely delicious. My fish stew wasn't the best I'd ever had but it was comparable. The depth of the flavours made the dish lip smacking, I'd definitely choose it again. I didn't have dessert but those who did said that they were all very good. It was my friend's birthday and I wish that they had made just a little bit of fuss of her. All in all a lovely meal was had by all.

Lovely experience. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. The chicken liver parfait was delicious. I had the half chicken which was juicy but lacked somewhat in flavour. If you are having dessert, the creme brulee is delicious! Relaxed atmosphere, good wines and decent food. I can't believe I haven't been here before... I will definitely like to return.

On a busy pre Christmas lunchtime without a reservation we were lucky to obtain a table after a ten minute wait in the bar area with a drink promptly supplied. Helpful and attentive staff. Interesting menu, generous portions, not over priced. The Toulouse sausage cassoulet was tasty, filing and not requiring additional sides. Definitely warrents another visit.

Lovely steak tartare starter! Excellent service! But £25 Chinon not worth the money as very thin 😕

Lovely food. Very spacious inside goes further back than our realise from outside. Fast and efficient service. My friend had a delay when we were there with her food as they'd over cooked her fish and had to restart cooking it. Was still quite quick service. Good catering for special dietary requirements. Went with gluten free and vegetarians and everybody was pleased with food

We went to Leeds shopping but we were too early for the shops. We found Cote Brasserie and decided to have done breakfast there. Have to say it was the best cooked breakfast I have had in years. The food was fresh, hot and presented well. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious breakfast/brunch with a cold and a hot drink for £10! It felt really posh whilst still being reasonably priced. Staff were really polite and friendly, I was so impressed. Perfect if you want something a little nicer that won't break the bank.
