How many of you that work in a establishment go there in your day off for a meal? I do and I love this food every day of the week.

My family and I went there not quite knowing what to expect as we don't eat meat or dairy. We were served a delicious meal that was so good I've been pining for more ever since. We will definitely go back and we recommend it highly.

Went there for the first time last night. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food was exceptional, the surf and turf tacos were amazing. The atmosphere was lovely and so welcoming. If you like cocktails, you're in the right place, they are fresh and delicious. I'm definitely going back.

The only stand out restaurant in Chapel Allerton, Pinche Pinche offers a simple but diverse menu of authentic Mexican food in a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Staff are attentive, there's a great variety of imported beers, wines and spirits which are reasonably priced and the dining room is cosy without being cramped. If you enjoy REAL authentic Mexican cuisine then don't go to one of the bland and boring chains in the city centre, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing - Can't wait to come back again!

Amazing food, lovely relaxed environment, reasonably priced. Expedient service, friendly staff and a wide selection of food/drinks. Cannot fault this place. My favourite place in Leeds to eat.

You know those times when a restaurant creates a bit of a buzz about it?  How it gets mentioned often on twitter and facebook and blogged about endlessly?. That makes me nervous. There are plenty of places that don’t live up to their hype, plenty of places that just have good PR people cooking up a social media storm for them, but which don’t deliver in the dining room.

The owner's passion for Mexican food has led them to take a daring step forward and offer the people of Leeds something a little different. ...This is no longer a run of the mill Mexican restaurant, they have something to shout about, something that makes them different, something you may struggle to make yourself at home.

I'm surprised this place hasn't bagged any 5-starrers yet. Well, here is one! This is the best Mexican food I've had in the UK. I should emphasize that I've spent time in California and in other Mexican-food-heavy areas of the US, like Chicago, besides Mexico itself. This place is up there. I had a tapas-based dinner with my partner, and we tried pretty much all their vegetarian tapas, including the two kinds of vegetarian tacos, the sopes, the tlacoyos, and the quesadilla with huitlacoche (what they call "Mexican truffle"). We were really impressed. Every dish seemed carefully designed and had a very well-defined flavor, even though in some cases the ingredients were similar (lots of pepper). Admittedly, it's a pretty Europeanized version of Mexican food (there is a certain lack of sour/herby flavors, like cilantro and lime), but I don't mind that at all given that what was in my plate was very tasty and very interesting anyway. We didn't try the guacamole, so I can't speak to that. But hey, making guacamole by yourself takes 10 minutes. I would rather get something more interesting in this kind of place. Overall, this is the best restaurant I've eaten at within Leeds city limits in 2 years and a half. I was very happy with the quality of the food, and the waiting staff was attentive and very pleasant. Will come back here often as long as I'm in Leeds. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it.

Srsly. MARGARITAS! The Tommy's here are the business, folks. And, what ever you do or don't do in life, getting the pork quesedilla will never cause you regret. Lovely staff, great drinks, fabulous food, and a top spot to go out with mates. Deals on pitchers sometimes. Ruddy love it. Srsly. MARGARITAS!

I've been along to Pinche Pinche a couple of times and have avoided writing a review as I am still undecided about how I feel about it. The food was good, but not blow your mind. The decor is lively and modern, but a bit "Mexican theme pub" and even the waiters didn't know what the letters meant! Drinks were reasonably priced They were great with having a 2.5 year old in, but they didn't have high chairs (tha tI saw and to be fair i doubt that he would have sat in it long!) I just feel that something is missing. It didn't help that the last time I went, my uncle and I got our meals the wrong way round....so that by the time I started eating and realised that it was chicken, he had eaten half of my dinner (never one to wait...or notice what he is eating!!). they offered to replace the meal, but I was starving so couldn't wait! So it's not a 5 for me, but I am sure I shall be back to let them try again very soon.

Admired the signage for a while when i've been passing but finally got to go inside. Two of us dined on a Wednesday night, we turned up early doors (6.30 ish) and were just in time. A number of reserved tables were there and by just after 7 the remaining tables were occupied. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, my query being theres so much on the menu I want to try, what is the best combination to ensure I make the most of my choices! I can thoroughly recommend the Tostadas, Burritos & Aztec Snowballs. Price was reasonable 3 courses each and a couple of drinks just over ÂŁ40. A grand little place for a quick bite to eat or a marathon menu like I choose to have, sometimes you just have to treat yourself!

Pinche Pinche is the reincarnation of Salsa Mexicana, and it's sooo much better. The decor is warm and inviting, there are no draughts, the tables and chairs don't wobble, and the bar looks much nicer at the back. The menu's been updated but it's still got poppers (named something else), the most amazing guacamole I've ever had (fact) and some seriously tasty burritos. It's got lots of other things too but that's what we ate last night anyway I can heartily recommend the chicken and chorizo burrito, but I'd ask for it to be mild rather than medium in spiciness as it had a hell of a kick. I knocked a star off because the service got super slow after we'd finished eating, right when we just wanted to waddle home.

Really nice food, the burrito was really good. Went on a Saturday night, and it was busy, but it didn't feel too crowded and that noisy. The waiters were good and we didn't have to wait too long for the food. We shared the nachos, guacamole, and chicken wings. They were fresh and really tasty. I had the Birradilla Burrito, it was presented well and the flavours were so good, it tasted really authentic. Overall I would recommend this mexican restaurant, it is definitely the better of the ones I have been to.

We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant for a while, after reading reviews we thought we would give it a try. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was great. Well priced good portion sizes and lots of little dishes to try. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Easily some of the best food in Leeds....anywhere really. The fish tacos are worthy of a Michellin star in my view as a foodie who has regularly visited starred venues in London over the last couple of decades. Very colourful, buzzy atmosphere, with the food matched by the service.

Great service. Good price. Nice sharing dishes. 4 stars because the chicken tacos were dry and the churos were small and needed to be served with chocolate sauce

Tried recently in March for a differnt cuisine from our usual outings and it’s fairly local, we love Mexicans at home and Pinche Pinche did not disappoint. The staff were really pleasant and talked to us about dishes as well. We ordered above what we normally would to try a few different things as there was so much on offer. Plenty of vegan options which 1 out of the 2 of us are. All the food was delicious with no complaints at all. When it came to pay there was no discretionary service charge added which seems the norm now (and I don’t mind paying unless execptional circumstances), there was only a prompt to ask which we duly added and paid as it was deserved. We will definitely return at some point!

Amazing food. In your average Mexican diner, the dishes tend to be all the same fillings, with the only differences being how the tortilla is folded around the fillings. At Pinche Pinche, the tastes and textures were varied and very very good. Service was excellent. The icing on the cake was that the piped music was almost unnoticeable - a rare delight in a world of frequent sonic sensory overload. We could concentrate on enjoying the food and each other's company. We will be back!

Really can’t say enough good about Simon, Sam & the staff at Pinche Pinche. We’ve been deprived of legit Mexican food since we moved to the area, and have tried several of the most highly recommended restaurants but just never satisfied until now. We sampled several different tacos, salsas, chips, beans & rice, margaritas and everything was amazingly… even dessert was remarkable!!!! We left 100% satisfied and excited to go back, and will definitely make a booking next time so we don’t risk getting turned away (even though Sam worked some magic to get us in as a walk-in). Thanks team!!!

Family diner and we enjoyed good food, nice mojitos and friendly staff. Even got free tequila shot for a birthday. The only thing I would say as not fully positive is don't expect Mexican chilly heat in your food as it's toned down for English taste buds. I guess you have to cater for your clientele.

The Mexican food was incredibly tasty. The CHILAQUILES were very rich in flavor and the portion was that large that I couldn't finish the whole thing. Plantain dough balls weren't exactly what I expected. But it is not the dish, I think it's just me trying things out and not knowing what to expect. I will come again for more.

We haven't visited since first lockdown & was a favorite of mine. This restaurant is small but service and food make up for that. It's cosey & food is out of this world! Drinks are extremely strong! Be warned! The staff really can't do enough for you. So pleased this little treasure didn't change in any way over the years.
