Another lovely meal at Brasserie Blanc
Another lovely meal - I had the Malabar Fish curry and John had the mussels both were delicious and nice to see some different desserts instead of the usual ones on offer. I had the pink champagne rhubarb and custard with cinder toffee that was fantastic so definitely recommend that.
The trempettes were great, full of flavour. I tried as many variations as possible on the bread struggling to decide which was the favourite, the sweet balsamic, the creamy garlic mayo, the salty olive tepenade...it was just too close to call, they complemented each other perfectly. Who knew something so simple could taste so good.
This is our favourite place in Leeds great atmosphere and food great building .a must
Great food and service. Called last minute for New Year's Eve and this was a great meal, well done. Considering they catered for over 120 people, the mussels with the smoked haddock in a lemon sauce was to die for, the risotto starter was perfect this was followed by a perfectly cooked rump steak. The staff were very helpful and made us feel special.
I was so impressed I booked lunch the following Saturday, this didn't disappoint the beef stroganoff was again perfect.
The menu is priced to attract the food is excellent, so much so I've booked another couple of times.
Well done Brasserie Blanc
Leodis Revived. Mixed emotions when I went to Brasserie Blanc. One of my old favourite restaurants was Leodis that BB took over the premises from, but Leodis had gone down hill in recent years. So it was a shame to see the old go but good to see a revived place in this excellent location. The food did not disappoint. Great meat, first class wine and the atmosphere was as good as Leodis in its heyday.
Worth a visit!

Excellent thank you. The venison special was superb. Service very very good. From a UK restaurant sceptic.
Had a great time for Valentine’s Day. It was super busy but the service was still top notch and fast and very friendly.
The food was really nice, quite different and interesting courses on the menu which was great. I had the crab with guacamole starter and that was a highlight and the pistachio desert was so good. The sea bass was also really really good.
Amazing food makes everything better.
Kids friendly with a rustic ambiance.
The staff made arrangements according to our requirements and were very welcoming.
Overall we enjoyed our time here.
I had a Virgin Experience voucher for a meal for 2.
It was very easy to book, I gave the voucher details over the phone when making the reservation & that was all they needed.
The restaurant itself was lovely, nicely laid out & very spacious which can sometimes be a concern as I have mobility issues.
The food was amazing; there was a nice variety to choose from, lovely presentation & it was all really really tasty.
The service was also very good, all staff were friendly and attentive.
I'd definitely recommend it & would also love to go back.
Visited as we had a voucher. The deal was for a limited set menu but we were offered the full a la carte menu with the voucher as a discount which was ideal.
Food was fantastic. Delicious and was presented very well. We had 3 courses and some drinks.
Staff were really friendly and atmosphere was great. Would definitely go again.
We went there for a business dinner. The Service was excellent and the steaks, well, just perfect! I really recommend this place. Probably in the summer time when the terrace is open it is a way better experience and atmosphere!
Me and the wife had an early valentine's meal here on the 12th, it was our first time here the venue is very nice and the staff where warm and friendly.
The food was great and very tasty and the final bill was under £90 which I find very reasonable, overall we had a nice time and I'm sure we will return.
Great place and atmosphere, definitely recommend eating here. Been here twice and they never seem to disappoint, will be coming back here again!
The French waitress was a great host! We had soups, confit and boeuf. All tasted amazing
Spotted the brasserie while I was exploring along the canal and thought I would give it a try even though I had dinner plans.
The service was good and friendly. I ordered the fish soup which was tasty.
I'll definitely be coming back to try the other items on menu.
What an absolutely incredible restaurant. We've just left from our meal there and the food was impeccable I couldn't rate it any higher.
We started with olives and cocktails which were fabulous. I had a bramble and my partner had the amaretto sours which was unbelievable.
I tried escargot for the first time for a starter and all I can say is WOW incredible! My partner had the crab and sweetcorn bon bons which were outstanding too!
Main course we ordered the Chateaubriand which is the best steak I have ever eaten (it beat the food in the Burj al Arab in Dubai!) The steak was melting in your mouth must try!
I opted for a glass of Lanson pere le fils to accompany my main and it was perfect.
For dessert my partner opted for sticky toffee pudding which he basically inhaled so must have been amazing and I had the chocolate and orange delice which was perfection!
From the service to the food everything was outstanding what an absolute gem of a place! We cannot wait to return again. Thank you Brasserie Blanc
