Delicious lunch

My partner and I went for Sunday lunch. We ordered the veggie Sunday dinner and sticky toffee pudding with icecream. Both courses were well received and the food was great value. Nice atmosphere and we plan to sample other dishes on the menu soon :-)

Jamie and the team could not have done enough for us and the food and ales were very very good. The Sunday roast was the best we have had in Leeds! Huge portion of the highest quality. Super accommodating hosts in a traditional British pub

My family decided we were having Christmas meal out this year, and this is where we went. The food was better than I expected, and they were good at adapting the dishes due to dislikes of ingredients. The staff were very helpful and nice. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and if you haven't been, I would recommend.

What a lovely, cosy pub with welcoming and friendly staff. My family and I visited on 2nd January after having had an awful experience at the Bridge Inn. The contrast in customer service was immediately evident. On entering the pub, I was warmly greeted and told we could sit anywhere with our small dog. The food was great and really good value for money. I had the Cumberland sausage and mash which was tasty. They even have a senior citizens' menu with smaller portions and smaller prices! Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Loverly little pub offering good selection of beers and ciders. Menu is also good and portion sizes are very adequate. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Meals were served quickly. Prices were reasonable. Overall a great local pub ( free wi fi as well).

Tried a new meal on the menu. Mexican chicken strips in a Flatbread. Peppers bacon onions salad and chunky chips. It was amazing. Not for the faint hearted. I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely stunning experience at West End House! It looked very busy, but Mark cleared a table for us within minutes, our food came out not long after ordering, and my partner and I were amazed at how hot, tasty, and well cooked the food all was - he even said the lamb shoulder was the best he'd ever tasted. We were blown away by the whole experience in this unassuming little pub in Kirkstall, but will be telling all our friends and absolutely returning soon!

Last Friday my Father and I dropped in for lunch. We had never been here before, and chose it from Google maps. Dad is in a wheel chair and the access for wheelchairs is a bit tight, not sure motorized ones would get in. Fortunately we could, and once inside it was nice and warm, with a very pleasant atmosphere. We were the first in, and Lucy made us very welcome. They have only taken on running the pub around 3 months ago. There were 3 menus on offer. A Seniors menu for those wanting a smaller portion. A two course menu, and the main menu. The food was excellent, holsome, tasty and good portions. Dad had Gammon, chips and peas from the Senior menu. The gammon was beautiful and tender, with big chunky chips, no french fries here. I had Cumberland sausages with mash potato, carrots and peas, served with a thick gravy. Instead of the long spiral Cumberland, it was serves as 3 fat porkers. Everything was delicious, well cooked and full of flavour. I was so stuffed afterwards. It was great to relax in the warm atmosphere with our drinks chatting a little with our host about their plans. The hosts are a young couple, but rest assured they are doing a great job, and hopefully continue to sucessfully operate this nice, spacious welcoming pub. Yes we will be visiting more than once in the future. We spent £23 including £5 on drinks, good value

Popped in for a pint and evening tea, first time since the change of ownership. We were struggling to find something on the menu as they are soon to be updated. The chef and his partner were so helpful and went the extra mile to make something for us. The food was amazing and plenty full, this is exactly what you want from a team who want to succeed, will definitely be going back, thank you.
