Date night
My partner and I went for dinner on a Wednesday night, the place was buzzing! We had arancini which was delicious but loved the soft shell crab and octopus. Great staff, friendly ambience and excellent food and service. Thank you.... we’ll be back again.
I try not to write anything about absolutely brand new restaurants, because opening a restaurant is hard, demanding, and things often go wrong, especially in the very early days. Fantastic dining experiences don’t just spring into being – getting a plate of food from kitchen to table is a very long and expensive journey, and it’s only fair to give a new place the time and space to get the logistics right.
The best restaurants in Leeds my and my partner have been several time and recommend it everyone and they always like it . The food is Italian tapas small sharing plates . Amazing decor and really good service
Great Italian "tapas" style dishes. Quality food cooked fresh and very tasty. Great choice on the menu to suit all tastes. Is slightly expensive but worth every penny. Knowledgeable staff who will guide you through the menu is you are unsure. Very good drinks selection. Would definitely return
Absolutely stunning food, excellent range of drinks, and very good staff indeed. Don't let the idea of sharing plates put you off it works like a charm. I would definitely, and will be returning to the restaurant shortly as its such a treat.
Excellent! Staff recommended well on portion sizes, meals and were very exceptionally friendly - especially the boss!
Food was fantastic (especially the lamb Ragu) and it is a great experience to try dishes you normally wouldn't. Menu is nut allergy friendly too, would highly recommend.
Stunning food and excellent service. We thought we might need to order more as each dish was in relatively small portion. But we were actually full after having deserts.
The food was great! It's more of a small portion share meal vibe where you can try a range of what they have on offer. It's a really good restaurant with a good selection of food. The service is really good as well as the atmosphere and would recommend This if you have an adventurous pallet. I would go again for sure! FYI, parking is not amazing and had to drive around a few times to get a space, something to keep in mind.
Fab place to eat
Zucchini and mint side was amazing
The chocolate frangipani was divine !!
This is my favourite restaurant in Leeds. Food, drink and service are consistently great.
If you're thinking of trying this restaurant- 'do it!'. Book a table as this place is always busy - esp. at a weekend.
There is a reason for this great food - small plates to share so you're taste buds can explore the menu. Great service - lovely staff and a proper buzz about the place as friends, families & couples share a meal. Thanks, Team Zucco.
A busy Thursday evening when we visited. The restaurant is bright and airy. Tables are nicely set.
Service is efficient if a little lacking in warmth.
Food was delicious. Overall a decent experience.
Quite simply, one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. This is no pizza and pasta joint - the dishes are innovative, modern, and the fish selection was exceptional. The range of wines and beers maintains the high bar set by the food, and the service is everything you’d expect from a family run business. I was visiting my son (at Uni) - and was so glad that we gave the standard city centre places a miss in favour of this neighbourhood gem. Go - you’ll not be disappointed!!
PS. Great playlist...
Im so pleased to find a fantastic place to eat in Leeds. Today was my first time and I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. It takes a lot of effort and commitment to be a bit different and the quality of all our dishes was superb. Well done and i hope this small business goes from strength to strength as they are clearly challenging the utter mediocrity of the extortionate chain brands
Bravo!
