Pleasant evening, buzzy friendly atmosphere. Good food.
Lovely historic building. Nice facilities inside, though members and guests only. £50 odd per year to join. Beer and food at decent prices. Nice garden. I don’t actually believe it is a Conservative Club now, but clearly has had past links. But political affiliation isn’t asked!!

Food was great. It was the curry night but a small menu is available if curry is not your thing.
It's a nice place with a field out back which is used for special occasions and Lisa can go and play. There is a room upfront which is used for special occasions and kids can go in there after nine as long as they aren't to loud. Nice food and smoking area
The Club and staff appear to be coping well with COVID restrictions. Today we went for lunch which was excellent, steak pie, new potatoes and vedge and bangers and mash, washed down with a pint or two of HSB.

The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Only possible let down is you have to be a registered member to go in.
