Our 1st to the pub. On arrival lovely friendly & very welcoming. We asked for a corner seating out the way, as we had our dog with us. The lady was very helpful with this. Food was fantastic. I had a carvery & my daughter had the chicken burger. The lady made sure we both got our meals at the same
Clean, efficient service with plenty of good standard food at a reasonable price point. The £2.49 everlasting mug of coffee is good. I couldn’t understand the extra charge for mushrooms when you could have as much of everything else as you pleased. The four of us ate well for less than £40.

Used to come here years ago. Returned today and wasn’t disappointed. Had lunch with friends. Lovely carvery at a very good price. Staff were very welcoming and a extremely accommodating.
Great pub in Lee on the Solent and it is by the sea. Had their Christmas roast dinner with a pudding and a drink. Very reasonable £25 for two. The carvery was a help yourself, absolutely delicious. Choice of three meats and about 6 veg, roast and mash potatoes. Yorkshire pud, gravy and sauces.

This is such a wonderful place to go. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful. We were in a family group with our grandson and explained that we had a cake to celebrate his second birthday. The staff immediately swung into action, taking the cake and candles to hide it in the kitchen for later. W
Was really good for the price.
Only thing was our table was right next to the kitchen and the heat was too much, we had to move. Apart from that, the service was great, food was nice.
Would recommend for a cheap roast.

Having regularly ordered from Inn by The Sea at work for a large number of people, 10+, the quality of food and service has always been excellent.
They always go above and beyond what is expected and the food is hot and well packaged.
For example, today there were some issues with Uber Eats fulfil
Very nice Sunday carvery very reasonably priced. Turkey carved from a whole turkey, beef, pork, gammon. Stuffing, yorkshire pudding. Extra cost for pigs in blankets.
Carvery was delicious. Different sizes available. I had gammon and turkey and both meats were cooked lovely, very succulent. Will definitely be visiting again.
The delivery driver took the wrong order to us. The restaurant phoned us to apologise and explain. They then rushed the rest of our food to us so quickly that the first load of food was still hot.
To make up for the mistake they added no additional charge for the extra items we recieved on the firs

Working originally in a social care setting this is way ahead of the game.
Sammy took great care of us as usual and always a smiling face - nothing was to difficult for her - we had a big group of 7 ranging from grandma (myself) to my daughters and grandchildren. Thankyou so much and will def be coming back!

Visited here today, was a bit skeptical as I'd been here years ago & didn't rate it much but as soon as we walked in the blonde lady behind the bar was really helpful & happy to serve us, really knowledgeable & we both commented on how nice she was.
