The fish & chips menu was lovely - just the right size, reasonably priced and with great taste. We can totally recommend this place!
Well I decided to try in the off chance & I was amazed by the quality of, there was 20-25 minute wait by the queue which is usually a good sign when I did get my large cod & chips there was no disappointment in the quality or the size of the cod the chips were plenty for a small portion just right this is my my go to for fish and chips
At last a very nice chippy! Visited for the first time today. Excellent Food! Cooked lovely. Ordered cod & chips with curry sauce, pea Fritter, chips and pie. Small chips mushy peas and sausage.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing, and I asked if they were still open. They told me yes, we are still open for another 15 minutes. So I ordered a large cod and small chips, and my wife had chicken and chips. We then walked two minutes up the road and into our B&B, where we tucked in to our supper. The fish was good and the chicken was fine, however, our chips were cold! Just because it was near closing time, the standards should not drop.
UPDATE - The manager has been in touch and he agreed that the standards should not have dropped and asked us to call in and he will put it right. We were only there for one night so we could not go back. However, I am very greatful for your offer, excellent customer service and quick response. Thank you! 😊
Fish and Chips, rather splendid Fish and Chips and Mushy Peas. Order ahead for swift pickup, easy parking, contactless payment. , The pensioners fish and chips are just the right size unless you're really hungry. Altogether top plaice.....🍟

Good cod and chips. I asked specifically for a large cod that I noticed sitting in the glass storage place, and although I enjoyed it, it was a little dry and maybe just a touch overcooked. But I enjoyed my cod and chips, and I will go back.
The people working there were nice and friendly, and the beach is right around the corner.

Not a place to done out. Definitely a place to buy take away (not take out.... we're British!) genius fish and chips. So good food and reasonable prices. Highly recommended
