We had a really nice meal here, and I heartily recommend it. Large portions, so come hungry. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Definitely wheelchair friendly. Dog friendly also. In need of a bit of a spruce up perhaps, but squeaky clean. Good for couples, families, just about any. There's a good menu plus specials board. Prices won't break the bank. Plenty of parking available.

What a lovely place. Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Gill worked like a trojan and was really good to my elderly family. I asked for lots of cheese on my baked potato, boy did they deliver. 👏 all the food was so fresh and delicious. Thank you!

Ordered the Cajun chicken burger and plain chicken burger, both with fries. Friday was 2 burgers for £20 very good value, very good food and excellent service and a warm welcome.

We (company of 4) visited it just for lunch. It is quite spacious and cozy place. We ordered grilled chicken breast (£12,5); fish and chips (£8.50); Steak burger (£11.25) and everything was perfect. Fast and friendly service. Big parking and nice garden terrace if it's good weather.

Had the beefburger and side of the largest onion rings I've ever had! Plus partner had Cajun chicken burger, again very tasty. Good pub grub, friendly staff and accept dogs in the bar area ( doggie water bowl available).

Very friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly. Adventurous menu. I had the fish platter which was good value. My wife had the small portion choice of fish and chips which were excellent. They are also members of the 'britstop' scheme which means they offer parking for mobile homes provided one uses their facilities.

We have now been a few times to this pub restaurant. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food and drink are very good. On the pub side the open fire is lovely.

Absolutely amazing! The food was a 10/10, the steak was cooked to perfection along with homemade onion rings which topped it off. Jill was so welcoming and lovely, she went above to make sure myself and partner had a wonderful evening. Thank you again team, can’t wait to come back soon!

We booked dinner last minute whilst staying overnight at a local campsite. Very accommodating as we have our dog with us too. Lovely, warm greeting when we arrived. Great customer service throughout. Food was really nice & both children enjoyed their meals too. Puddings were delicious and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Really pleased we booked at The Trumpet 😊

What a find, will definitely visit again. The Fisherman's Platter is amazing, I was lucky enough to have a large portion of the smoked salmon and chive pate to take home. Yummy. If you don't ask, you don't get.

We stopped here for drinks on our way back from a day trip. The building looked really quirky. Bar tender was very helpful and great hospitality skills. We sat in the beer garden it's very big, lots of umbrellas for shade on a sunny day. Toilets were clean enough but but smelly, considering it was 30 degrees outside I'm putting it down to that. Looked like they had been very busy with food.
