As a group of 18, we were well and truly accommodated with pleasant smiles and friendly service.
Ordering was straight forward, seating was all prepared for us, and the added bonus of being able to sit in a shaded outdoor area and watch the women's final!
Once everyone had placed their orders and the food started to arrive, our group fell silent - the quietest we had been all weekend! It was spectacular! The food was cooked to perfection, the condiments were provided with no hassle, the gravy was so tasty and came in cute little pots so we could pour however much we wanted. The roast potatoes!!! Wow! I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again!

AMAZING PLACE! We were visiting from Yorkshire, booked a table here for my birthday and we weren't disappointed. Very delicious food and incredibly friendly staff and locals. We treated our dog to one of their dog ice creams so she could join us for dessert, she was a happy pooch. There was an acoustic guitarist playing during our meal too which just added to an already fantastic experience. Definitely recommend, especially welcoming for dog owners. Book ahead, it was fully booked on the Sat night!

Booked on spec, looking for somewhere to meet friends for lunch that did gluten free options. Busy service but all food types catered for, well prepared and very tasty, witnessed by all the clean plates.

4 pub meals in 4 days and this was the best. 9 meals, everyone commented how delicious it was. Service was excellent from greeting to farewell, but not goodbye as we will surely return for the coveted Sunday roast
Four of us for a Tuesday lunch. Ample parking. A friendly welcome. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Surroundings pleasant. The menu offered a very wide choice of dishes which were served promptly and with care. Our overall impression was that the food was very good and the service excellent. We all agreed we would be pleased to eat there again. What more can you ask?
We have visited the Oak Inn Staplow a few times now and each time, Chris and all the staff make you feel welcome. Food is excellent, we had Sunday lunch today, in the words of my girlfriend, it was gorgeous! Living in Bodenham, it’s a good drive to Staplow but well worth it. Thanks and see you again

My wife and I visited here recently. The food and ale were superb, and the staff were very attentive. Its certainly worth a visit, and we will definitely go back.

What a gem of a place, delicious food and friendly landlord and staff. Good choice of food, we went twice as they had a Cornish sea shanty theme night. A lot of fun and great food again. Highly recommended!
Absolute brilliant pub. The Sunday roast was out of this world and the service was outstanding. The lady welcoming us, I think her name is Vicky, was very kind. What a gem.
It was for our wedding anniversary. The oak inn staplow was recommended from a friend of mine and it didn't disappoint . Considering we travelled 45 mins and new to the pub we had such a warm welcome . All the staff that served us were so good and looked after us . Most importantly the food was really tasty and lots of choice - extra special with local wine to wash it down with. Highly recommend the oak in staplow and we can't wait to go back. Thanks again. ☺️
I really enjoyed Sunday lunch here. Proper home cooked food. The service couldn't have been better. Nice surroundings in a historic pub. OK for wheelchair users, quite roomy and level. Pooches are also welcome.
Didn't use rooms, just ate at the restaurant. Food and drinks arrived quickly, you can eat inside, in a tropical area under a roof or outside. The food was incredible, best steak pie I have ever eaten!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the The Oak Inn, the room was 1st class in our opinion, as we've stayed in UK B&B's and Inns for almost 30yrs so know what standards to expect.
The staff are friendly and respectful and eager to meet your requirements. The evening meal was excellent and the menu is varied to suit all reasonable tastes, typical British pub food, just the way we like it but with quality too.
The room was excellent too, with plenty of room and with double aspect windows, a small balcony with french doors, a large size tv and super king size bed which has high quality linen and pillows aplenty too, very comfortable to sleep in, probably a medium comfort mattress.
Bathroom is a nice size with bath 🛀 and powerful Mira fitted shower 🚿 over bath, toilet and basin with nice size mirror. It was one of the best bath 🛀 experiences I've had in years, plenty of powerful hot and cold water to get it exactly the way you like it in seconds 👌👌
We stayed in room 4 which also has 2 bunk beds suited to kids.
Breakfast was great with attentive service, and quality food and a filter coffee to finish with ☕ 👍

A wonderful pub/restaurant with exceptionally high quality food, amazing, welcoming and friendly staff that is dog, friendly reasonably priced and has all the charm of a quaint British pub.
I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a lovely evening out.
A lovely visit with friends for Lunch. After a dreadful visit to another pub last month we decided to try The Oak. It couldn't have been more different. The service was brilliant and the food was tasty and good value for money. Nothing was too much trouble and when two of us didnt eat the pudding because it wasnt to our taste, the Gentleman behind the bar couldn't have been more apologetic. (Not his fault it just wasnt as nice as we thought - Personal taste) Definitely recommend as all three meals were fantastic, Thank you to The Oak for a lovely lunch and afternoon.
