Seafood is fresh and the sauce is well matched with it. The fries are crispy and very delicious. I usually don't finish fries in a set dish, but l do this time. Only one thing l would like to complain is they didn't devein the prawns. Other than that l am satisfied with this meal.
Absolutely delicious food.Had the taramasalata with fish skins to share as a starter with hubby as taramasalata is his favourite.The best we have ever tasted and fish skins very usual but again delicious.
We both had the Cornish Sole which again is the best we have ever had..watch out Rick Stein !!!

Fabulous food, everything cooked fresh to order, all our food was delicious , the staff were very attentive and friendly. Lovely decor, super cute! Highly recommended, will be going back without a doubt :)
Last evening was the second time this year I have been to the Brasserie, and again the service was impeccable with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lovely atmosphere and absolutely brilliant sea food beautifully cooked and imaginatively presented.
I recommend the Brasserie without hesitation and implore you to visit sometime and support this great little local business. I look forward to my next visit.

The seared tuna and calamari were amazing; I could have bathed in the sauce with the sea bass and the puddings were to die for. Everything was cooked perfectly. I still can’t stop raving about it a week later! The service was impeccable. So pleased to have this place in Lechlade.

Lovely dinner at the New Wave last Thursday, highly recommend the half lobster. Really nice setting and service, the only negative was it is a little chilly if sat in the windows.

We went on a Friday night and were out the back in the shack. The decor is fab, and it was lively and warm with the heaters.
We had a wonderful dinner… the fish tacos were awesome. My partner had the mussels of the day and thoroughly enjoyed them and I had half a lobster which was great.
The staff are incredible friendly and helpful…. attentive without being intrusive.
Can’t wait to bring friends and family when they visit.

New Wave opened today. We weren’t disappointed. The owners have done a fantastic job of refurbishing the restaurant from the ground up to give it a very fresh and clean feel about the place and subtle sea theme runs throughout. Our small party of 4 were one of the first to have lunch at this fabulous little brasserie. It has a plentiful menu of sea food goodies and whatever you had was finely presented. I had the mussels and they were absolutely delicious. The staff were quite professional and very helpful. The restaurant is quite small and only has a handful of covers inside the main bar area but we knew this before going in. There is also a larger ‘shack at the back’ which we had a look at before we left which can cater for larger groups and I would have been more than happy to have been seated in there. We spoke at length with Alex, the manager, after we’d eaten. Very nice chap who treated us all to a small one on the house because we were the last to leave. Personally I thought the prices were fine and for fine sea food was a bout right but others may find it a little weighty on the pocket depending on what you choose from the menu. All drinks included with main and dessert we happily paid about £30 head. This is a smashing little restaurant which I highly recommend based on its opening day experience. And I’m very glad to see it open in my home town.

Walked in on spec on Sunday lunchtime and got a seat at the bar in the window . Lovely warm welcome, attentive staff, great sound track! Food and drink prices very reasonable. The food was very very good, especially our sides of potatoes and salad. Will definitely recommend and come back . My only negative would be that the loo is outside of the restaurant so it’s rather cold going to and fro. But other than that, fantastic.
Really enjoyed our visit. Sat in the courtyard, perfect on a warm evening. Lovely food, excellent staff
