We had a complimentary frankfurter pastry, with lovely pickle red onion - the familiar tastes of a 'hot dog' but in a more refined, yet simple, way. Really nice.
For mains we ate the fried breaded chicken stuffed with cheese, served with freshly made chips & pickled cucumber
We really enjoyed our meal here: chicken and tarragon soup, pork-filled crepes, salad with melon, and cheese and ham stuffed chicken. It was all delicious, but the best bit of all was just being there: gently fascinating (not too fussy) ambience, and the "personal touch" hospitality.

Just had delicious lunch/brunch at this new cafe in Lechlade. Wonderful chicken and tarragon soup. Friendly place, nice decor...our only regret was that we had no room for the tasty looking cakes.
We went in for some coffee and delicious pastries, was a lovely atmosphere and really welcoming, friendly staff. Also took bought some cakes to go which were amazing! Definitely going to become a regular place for us !
