Fantastic quality, friendly andvwarm people running the shop who obviously care about the quality of the food they serve. Also just a few minutes from Jn 9 of M25. Will definitely stop here again.
Ordered via phone, good prices and great quality food.
Portions are good (1 Large Cod and 1 Large Chips is plenty for 2 adults) and lovely small touches like a wedge of lime with the Cod.
Everything was wrapped in Paper and all eco friendly.
Mega fresh chips and fresh fish in a nice batter no complaints at at all and piping hot
Amazing fish ! The fish cooked to perfection and chips how I like them there was alot of moanful delight during eating ,I will be back as I've finally found a great chippy in the area and missed this little gem all this time.dont miss out it's worth a visit you won't regret 😀
This fish and chips shop is a real hidden gem. New management really take pride in what they serve. Here you will find very generously sized fish, cooked to perfection - tender and succulent, full of flavour too. Batter is also really nice, not hard and greasy like you can find in other places. To me it was a real treat, and now this little shop is in my to-go list.

Fortunately for us Lemon Plaice Fish & Chips was open on a Sunday, our other local fish place wasn't. So we ordered two large cod and chips, at a reasonable price. Food was hot as expected, not overly greasy and overly battered, also the lemon provided we drizzled on the fish was a real compliment to the meal. All in all we were impressed, and therefore will be happy to return again.
I live over the road from this shop so you can imagine how many times I’ve been! The warmest and friendliest service! Fantastic food every time! And always so accommodating! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Ordered a large fish and chips and received a perfectly battered and fried large cod fillet (not a slim tail). Very tasty however a bit pricey with no drink sauce or proper takeaway container.
Amazing food served by the nicest people. Just moved to the area and they have been a life saver. Their donner meat is incredible. Never had such a good kebab and chips and savoloy are just as good.

They do really good 1/4 lb-er and 1/2lb-er burgers and nice chicken nuggets that are real chicken not all beak n feet.
And they are really friendly and helpful.
Fabulous fish and chips cooked to order. Really impressed gand the only place I've ever been offered lemon wedges to go with the fish!
Stunning! Very fresh, very tasty and we'll presented. We will be back and it is around a 25 minutes journey for us, but very well worth it! Thank you Lemon Plaice.
