Best roast dinner I have ever had in a pub!!
I have been to hundreds of pub's and this is on another level!!
Only thing that is missing is cauliflower cheese as an extra in my opinion.

Booked a table from 3pm yesterday and stated that we would have a dog with us, would be having food and wanted to watch the football, arrived to find a table reserved for me with a great view of the screen, was perfect for the dog and the food was excellent. Will definitely be going back!
Cannot fault this place. The food is excellent, the drinks delicious (more on this later) the staff friendly and welcoming and the venue is pleasant.
Its my go to place for a lunch time "meeting" with colleagues. Situated down at the bottom of Leatherhead High Street its a lovely little building with a decent covered outside sitting area which is great in warm weather.
Their burgers are fantastic but ensure you turn up hungry as the portion control will not leave you wanting. They also serve a decent selection of ales etc im particularly partial to "Proper Job Cornish IPA" And this is one of the few pubs I've visited that serve it.
Ordering online via their app is easy. The app isn't the best but they're always quick to serve and friendly and it makes your and their lives easier I guess. Prices are very reasonable.

This is a cosy pub, nicely decorated and good service. Tables cleared regularly. Recently expanded menu, with good selection and excellent food. Only downside, drinks are very expensive.
Recently came to the Penny Black with my family for lunch. The staff were very accommodating and professional. The food was lovely. A special thanks to Matt for finding us a suitable table for the children and working well with the kitchen to suit our dietary needs. We will definitely be back! Thank you
New to the area and the first time I came into the pub, they were very inviting and made me feel comfortable and at home. After checking other pubs in the area, I will always come back here because of how good the pub is.

Lovely pub, with amazing food and great selection of beers. We came here for fathers day lunch as we needed pick something up from a nearby farm, we don't live in the area and were nicely surprised by how delightful this place is.
We booked a meal for 40 of us after getting married in Leatherhead earlier that day. We could not have had a better time or service from the team at the Penny Black - the communication with the manager ahead of time was helpful and quick, we were able to drop cakes and decorations etc off in the morning and the pre-ordered drinks were ready for our arrival. The team on that day were friendly and available for whatever we needed. HUGE thank you to the kitchen team who managed to get out 40 pre-ordered meals at the same time and all hot. This is not just your average pub - 5* 10/10 recommendation. The manager on shift that day said they didn't really do bigger groups or weddings that often but if you are reading this and looking to book a party or bigger group event in Leatherhead - Penny Black is where you need to go.
Very friendly Bar Staff & a good atmosphere.
Great for watching Sport & whilst I don't often eat here, when I have, the food has been first class.
A good selection of Beers and the best pub in Leatherhead for many a year 👍
