Middleton's Leamington Spa is the latest additionally to the trendy Regent Court. Leamington Spa has a load of restaurants to choose from and after visiting Leicester recently I had to try the local one. The restaurant was clean and tidy through and resembled a very square layout given the nature of the area it is in. It has been kitted out elegantly whilst retaining some features such as a brick wall effect inside. I opted for the Prime Set Menu today having tried the Lunch Set Menu previously. The location did not have some items available such as Rib-Eye steak due to supply issues but this is to be expected and it would have been nice for the host to have informed me about this before ordering. Starter - Beef Satay Skewers Sirloin beef marinated in satay sauce and peanut dip. A twist on the usual chicken satay. In terms of taste, there is a mild satay taste to them and the peanut sauce was not that strong (not what you would be used to in a Chinese restaurant). The beef was cooked well but a little on the chewy side. Overall it was fine. Main - 10oz Rump Steak with wedges - medium rare Salad. Garlic Butter as an accompaniment. This was cooked exactly as to how I asked for it. It had a good flavour it and a decent size too. The salad was dressed and suitably chilled and fresh. The mushroom and tomato were as expected. The wedges were crispy and had a good colour to them. Overall excellent. Dessert - Chocolate Fondant with ice cream I don't see this very often on menus so I had to try it!. When it came to the table, the smell of that fondant was evident. Served hot, it was rich in flavour with plenty of chocolate inside it. Amazing! The ice cream was smooth and creamy. All the above for £21.99 which was great value for the area. Would definitely visit again in the future.

The food was excellent buts that is not what stood out. There are many places in leamington that have excellent food. Although the food was amazing it was by far they best service I've received in leamington in a long time. Everyone was so attentive, doing the right checks, asking if we needed anything, we didn't wait for anything. We wasn't forgotten at any point. Really made our night. Everything was perfect.

Very good table service, delicious sunday roast, and a lovely surprise at the end for the birthday boy. Great staff there, just not enough of them unfortunately.

Ignore the negative reviews people forget that the staff are new, learning on the job and they paid half price for their meals!! We had a lovely meal, offered chilled water as soon as we got in, and staff attentive (although a little nervous). Food was lovely, came quickly, cooked perfectly and presented well. Will definitely go again and nice to have heat another lovely restaurant in Leamington.

Went here on Saturday 15th October- sad to see it wasn't heaving as the food and service were absolutely immense. 1st time here and will certainly be coming back. One of the best places I've eaten in Leamington. 100% recommended.

Had a nice evening on Middletons last night . The waiting staff was really good and effecient. Its very nice to have a prix fixe menu even on an evening. The fondant au chocolat isnt really a fondant more of a sponge , but nice nevertheless. My friends also enjoyed their meals.

The new Middletons branch opening in Leamington served their first Sunday lunches on the 27th, my wife & I had a prawn & crayfish cocktail not outstanding but enjoyable, the Beef main had very flavorsome gravy & meat, the Yorkshire & roast potatoes enjoyable but the accompanying vegetables we found fine but on the al dente side & the sauce with the cauliflower cheese on the thin side for my taste, the Pork was also fine but the crackling was possibly the best we have had in a restaurant, sadly at 3.45 the cheesecake had run out, but the creme brulee was lovey to finish the meal. The staff are obviously learning as they go but our waitress Zara was both attentive, friendly, & very efficient. The venue was a bit noisy with families in an echoey way, prices seem fair & reasonable for both food & wine, thank you & I wish them well in the future & we will be back.

Not a great start as (despite me emailing to confirm), the management decided to break the promise of 50% off food for the first 14 days of opening. A bit of to-ing and fro-ing and the promise of an honest review online, and they decided to honour it. The starter was a bread platter where unfortunately the bread was rock hard. It had obviously been cut earlier in the day and left in a warm place all day. Pity. Thankfully when we got to freshly-cooked food - i.e. the main course - it couldn't have been better, I'm pleased to say! The 10oz fillet steak was outstanding - perfectly seasoned (not over-peppered), perfectly cooked and perfectly rested. It truly was outstanding. My wife's chicken burger was also excellent too, and the chips (fries if you're American) were hot and tasty. Dessert (Creme Brulee) was also very good and the coffee was enjoyable. The staff were excellent, very friendly, attentive and professional. Overall we would definitely come here again, but they need to make sure that bread is fresh and not hard. Very strongly recommend the steaks!

One of best mixed grills I've had the place was very quiet with staff that were excellent, I usually wouldn't comment on the cleanliness but it really was to a very high standard just the cutlery alone warranted a review on it own highly recommend this establishment
