me and my friend decided to come in tuesday night and had a lovely meal i chose creamy stilton chicken and my friend had a braised beef and it was gorgeous, we had a lovely waitress who provided us with fast and friendly service, always being looked after and asked if everything was okay, atmosphere

Absolutely amazing. We had a delivery for my dads birthday a few weekends ago. He had the prawn linguine and said it was fab. It all looked and tasted delicious. A sound village pub. Friendly staff. Good food. I had the The Blue Shroom, beef burger, Stilton and a field mushroom. It was tasty, but I did have to eat it in sections! Good pint of beer too.
The pub is under a new management, newly and beautifully refurbished. Very cosy atmosphere. The place is dog friendly. Extremely friendly and polite staff. Highly recommended.

The service was good and the food was outstanding quality and reasonably priced. The portions were favourable and kids pizza was huge.
