I came in for a quick meal but ended up staying longer. My server, Marina, was excellent. Very polite and attentive. I even watched her clean off unattended sections that did not belong to her. In USA it is customary to tip, I offered her a tip and she politely refused. She just smiled and asked
Very busy as a Sat night. Staff friendly and helpful as in most Spoons.
I did not complain as it was late on Sat night at 7pm.

Visited Monday and Tuesday evenings and was very popular with students. Unsurprising as great selection of quality food and drink. Albeit busy the table service was rapid.

Food is still good, although my husband had mixed grill and some of his steak was very tough, he was unable to eat it. My friend and I had curries. Mine was vegetarian cauliflower and spinach with two poppadoms and nan bread oozing with garlic. It was delicious. One seating area in a booth did need

Went in for breakfast, food was luke warm had to ask the server to return to kitchen and blast it in microwave for couple of minutes. Toast was unsaveable though, cold from the start.
Had many Spoons brekkies over the years and never been served this cold. Disappointing ☹️
Nice pub bit dark inside but think all weatherspoons are like. Food good value for money and nice. There was plenty of seats as went in the afternoon with a group of people. Parking might be a problem as no car park and on a main street but we got dropped off so had no issues.
Great place to chew the fat. Not overly busy on a Monday. Typically well priced for a Wetherspoons. Don't really know why people knock spoons.
