I found it very easy to book online, and the table was ready immediately when we arrived. It was a little snug at our table but it was okay, temperature was pleasant. The restaurant had friendly staff, and service was quite quick, we had a pot of tea which was a nice size, both of us had steak (rump) mine was excellent I love it when i get a completely gristle free cut, my partners was good, but not so lucky. We eat ours blue and it was cooked pretty nicely. The deserts were lovely, we had the lemon tart, it was sharp zesty and refreshing, and the rhubarb and ginger crumble, also very delicious, a crunchy crumble and lovely zingy flavoursome filling topped with ice cream. Will certainly be coming back given the value of the food here!

Great little cafè, had the special for £9.95 (Any breakfast + any hot drink + any fruit juice). Nearly had my 'go to' Croque' but plumped for Perfectly cooked & presented breakfast. Staff very polite & efficient. Nice change for a 'chain' establishment. Would recommend.

Nine of us had a meal here for my wife's birthday. The service was prompt and very good. It was a Sunday afternoon and fairly quiet so it was all quite relaxed. Cafe Rouge tend to be good even when busy, though. The food was excellent and our two grandchildren were given puzzles & colouring to occupy them. All in all, a great visit and will be going again.

We had a Virgin Experience here. I will definitely come here again. One waiter served the whole floor with fantastic enthusiasm and finesse. Not too crowded and perfect menu. Reasonable value. It's a yes from me!

Great French food. Pleasant environment. Cheap parking outside, which is free after 6pm. Service was incredibly friendly and effective. Nice selection on kids menu, with waiter being very accommodating for different options. Good for families. Toilets on second floor, so could be problematic for wheel chair users. Might be an accessible toilet, but unable to find. Love the place regardless

Lovely restaurant- they managed to fit us in on a Saturday night even though we hadn't booked. The childrens portion was spot on. The muscles were beautiful and a good size portion too. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a good atmosphere . The cocktails were good too.

Called in on the off chance for a table for breakfast! Made to feel very welcome, offered a fantastic choice menu! Served with hot tea and toast, a well presented and tasty full English Breakfast all served with a pleasant smile and polite service. Thank you.

I come here quite a bit and it's always lovely and the food is always great. The staff are alwsy friendly and helpful. The prices are okay for what you get. I always have the Steak baguette and omg it's to die for. So tasty and the dressing is so delicious. Drink prices are a bit expensive but most places like this you can expect it. I recommend this place to adults a like. I don't know much about the kids menu but I think this sort of a place is made for adults. Recommend to all!

Enjoyed a warm welcome on arrival and shown to a lovely table by the window. Had a lovely cold lager and beef baguette... really tasty! Staff friendly and decor quirky. We will return.

We have visited several Cafe Rouge venues across the country, but this venue is by far the best one yet ! We visited here for lunch on 10th December 2018. The venue has a lovely atmosphere, and the service was 'casual' yet efficient. The food was excellent! Will definitely revisit this venue again when in the area.

Fantastic breakfast. I asked for the veggie but replaced the beans and tomatoes with smoked salmon...which was a generous portion. Quite busy and I can see why it's popular. Still did not feel rushed and a great start to the day.
