This pub was my final stop in Warwickshire before heading back to Greater London and it was a beautiful end to a beautiful weekend. The food was excellent and the staff where so friendly and so funny. Shame I didn't get to take their names. Great to be in a place where you know the staff are enjoying their work. If you go there, take your time to read the menu. It cracked me up and I now cant stop singing scampi, chips and peas to the tune of Gypsy, Tramps and thieves ..Highly recommended. Thank you....xx

Visited Leamington to see the Undertones. The Cricketers was 2 minutes from our hotel and it had looked very inviting on website so paid it a visit. Went for lunch which was superb. Actually got real pie ie a slice cut from a big pie. Went back for a pre concert pint, and a few post concert pints and one of their home made scotch eggs the size of a football (nearly). We got all our requests played by the staff on the music machine and really didn't want to leave. Great old style English pub, and great sense of humour added around the place. Staff friendly. Good choice of beer. Dogs allowed. So all pretty faultless (except crying babies but can't win everything lol). Will visit again without doubt.

Lovely pub, great food, great cask beers and friendly atmosphere! 2nd visit to Leamington Spa and had to stop to see if service was still up to snuff and it was spot on! If in area please stop.

What an absolutely superb English pub - ran by an absolutely superb publican. When he was told we were from NZ he asked if we wanted "Fush and Chups" and the banter started from there. But we were made to feel so welcome, and the pub had just a superb atmosphere - if I lived in Leamington it would certainly be a regular for me. Top notch.

Popped in to rehydrate after a walk around the three parks in Leamington and liked it so much we came back for our evening meal. Great staff, great beer and great food. If/when we return to Leamington I expect we will return.

We have just had one of the best Sunday roasts in Warwickshire here. My wife had the lamb and I had the beef. Absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately we only have pictures of empty plates of the pudding as it was so nice 😆

This is what a pub is meant to be. The welcome we received was awesome, and we even had the dog with us. The food was amazing and great value. There's not much more to say proper great pub!!

We only had drinks here so it is not fair to rate the food. It is a fun pub at a historic location facing a famous bowls ground. We took the drinks to watch people playing in a balmy sunlit evening. So it was nice indeed.

Wow! Called in for lunch with an old friend, great greeting and super service, busy but calm atmosphere. Tasty ale and fantastic food; don’t miss the chef’s own recipe chilli con carne, absolute stunning dish of beef chilli, just the right smack of chilli! Highly recommend this great pub.

Nice pub, on the back streets of Leamington, overlooking the Bowls club, good quality food served, and 3 ales on at the time of my visit, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Really friendly pub with nice food. Wednesday night had lots of tables booked and was pretty busy with a mix of regulars and drop-ins/dogs and babies. Toy box for kids (with books and colouring in things). Ok real ales on tap (Timothy Taylor’s). Huge kids meal... actually all meals were large. Great find.
