Awesome food. Loved Thai noodles n chicken. Ambience is very nice. Desert choices are superb. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. #thaifoodstagram #thailover #noddles #brocli #eathealthy
A great place for a quiet meal, Sabai Sabai offers amazing Thai cuisine. Very peaceful ambience, great service and delicious food. Lot of vegetarian options too. The main course portions are usually for 1 person, so order accordingly. The Zomato page says no bar, but they have a lovely fully-stocked bar. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 starters and 3 main course dishes for a total of £50. The cocktails are average and can be avoided. But the food is brilliant.
We were supposed to initially go to Kayal which is right across the road but since they had a long waiting we ended up at Sabai Sabai. To start with, the restaurant gives an amazing impression with its grand decor. We were welcomed by a humble man (guessing he's the owner) who completely broke the ice with his quirky attempts to making us laugh. He made us sit down next to the fire place at the start and made us order our drinks and food till he could sit us down. Maybe it's normal for them, but it seemed like a different dining experience for us. The food didn't take too long (which we didn't expect) and the owner made sure at every step he came checked on us, made good conversation with us and at the same time made us order a good amount of food. I'd say he's perfect for the restaurant. At the end, he even got us a birthday cake(on the house) since we were there for a birthday dinner.
Getting to the food, we ordered Chicken Satay, Tom Yum soup with King Prawn, Singapore Noodles with Prawn, Thai Red Curry and rice. All in all, the food was well above average. The atmosphere really made our dining experience liven up. Drinks were nice too.
Spent about 15-20 pound per person for a dinner meal.
Will definitely go back!!!
Good ambience and decor. Service was decent although they were rushing cause they were closing. Food was good although the portions were very small. Would have preferred more selections of rice.
Amazing food, with an interior to match. Fairly high priced, but worth it. Try the roasted duck.
Gr8 food, Gr8 service and very reasonable
Awesome - Best Thai in Leamington. Back to Sabai Sabai last Saturday and once again the food, surroundings and entire experience was flawless. Sit in the bar/lounge and select your dishes from a menu which doesn't have a million varieties of dish but enough variation to make you deliberative for far too long! As soon as your starter is ready, you're called to your table. We went for 3 platters between 4 people, 2 standard, one seafood which is plenty. Then the mains arrived in perfectly timed succession with a great depth of flavour, texture, freshness and volume. I'd recommend the dry curry (not dry by the way, but not as liquid as a standard curry) or the chef's special. Very good value for money with 4 mains, 4 rice, 8 drinks, 3 platters to start and a vegetable dish to share coming in at about £30 per head including tip. Recommended.
Great food as always, great atmosphere and staff where awesome. Definitely n
One of my favourite locations
1) Interior & Ambience: absolutely beautiful - green, cozy, calm! 😍
2) Food: delicious, scrumptious!
Would highly recommend for vegetarians too.🙂
Would definitely visit again. 😀
Awesome Thai food and a fine dining experience. Must visit if you're in Leamington Spa
Beautiful restaurant with excellent customer service. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the staff are very attentive. They cater so well for me and my children. The food was lovely and the drinks were delicious. Ingredients were fresh and portions were a good size. They did not pressure to purchase extras and were in no rush for us to leave. The music was really nice and a very relaxed but special atmosphere. Highly recommend.
First time dining there and must say the food was excellent. We decided on a set meal for a change and there was plenty. Was offered to take the rest home. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The surroundings were beautiful and very spacious. Downstairs was lovely. Beautifully clean toilets. Drinks were on the expensive side. Would definitely go again.
This is the best Thai food in town, in my opinion. The staff is great too. My first preference by a long shot for getting comfort food in Leamington! Great gluten free options.
Took my family who was visiting me for some food. The food here is actually really good. As always. My family loved the experience. The only thing was as it was a Friday they didn’t have the table I booked ready but got it resolved in 5min. And when we order a whiskey, the 1st drink came as Khalua but was quickly corrected. This place is very hospitable and always know how to serve you good quality food. Highly recommend the jasmine / coconut rice and Singapore noodles. And their Thai beef curry.
Was taken out for my birthday meal by my friend. The staff were very nice! Food was delicious! I will be definitely back.
Good but slightly underseasoned food and generous portions. I discovered that our waitress was working her 3rd day ! Charmingly friendly as she is, she clearly needs more training ! Reasonably good value. It was disappointingly impossible for the proprietor to get me a taxi to get back to the train station ! 😭
As good as it gets really - authentic staff giving very good service. Never had to wait too long for dishes or drinks. Not very busy for a Friday night so could be different if it was. Plenty of room with nice big tables. Overcharged on bill by £11 so that was a let down (hence 4 star). Food wise - inoffensive cuisine that lacked punch or texture, but largely palatable - we left some of the beef which frankly was a bit rubbery (hence 4 star). Atmosphere very nice actually. If there was piped music then I didn't notice it which is what you want.
