Had fantastic pie and mash meal with delicious lemon meringue pie on the way home after being at the local spa. What an amazing meal. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. Hadn't booked, so we were very lucky to get in as they were busy. So glad we took the chance to pop in and

The food that arrived was exceedingly good. The portions were just what a hungry soul needed. Haven't eaten here yet, but the beer and company are top-notch. Stop here ever now and then after walking the dog and always end up chatting to a friendly local. Proper country pub.
Great selection on the regular menu and some unusual dishes on the specials board. Service was good, dog friendly inside and nice outside space, for warmer days.
