We visited this tea rooms twice during our visit to the island, once for lunch and again a few days later for breakfast.
On both occasions the food was incredible, the place is in gorgeous surroundings and the staff are lovely.
Perfectly located for a visit to Laxey Wheel!!

Had my daughters baby shower in Salmon Lake Centre today. Absolutely fantastic. Loved the way the room was set up so all the guests were on one big table. Afternoon tea for everyone, plenty of sandwiches and cake and an endless supply of tea and coffee. Fantastic food and service, the staff constantly checking we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Organised a baby shower whilst living off island here, they couldn't of been more helpful and truly wonderful. The place was beautiful and we were allowed to decorate and even arrive early and stay and watch the England game.
Food was phenomenal.
Service was impeccable. Could not do enough for us �

We recently organized a baby shower afternoon tea in a private room and it was fantastic. Sandwiches included salmon and cream cheese, thick home cooked ham and mustard, egg mayo, cream cheese and cucumber. Selection of cakes, macaroons, scones with cream and jam, florentines, a huge chocolate loaf, mini Bakewell tarts.
Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, regular checks to ensure we had everything or needed topping up with tea and coffee. Access to decorate room before hand and a small table for gifts. Perfect.

Great lunch at Ballacregga today 13 of us, place was busy and to cap it all burst water main on Mines Rd so they had no water �staff brilliant kept there sense of humour even though they must have been very stressed food lovely visitors from oz very impressed thanks Marie you have a great team x
For the second year, we had a stunning afternoon tea at Ballacregga. The food was wonderful. And there was so much that we even got to take home goodie bags for later. A wonderful venue with fabulous staff where nothing was too much trouble and everything done with smiles and fun. We had the private room as there were 20 of us and it was perfect. Last year was brilliant and this year was just as amazing. Thank you. We will be back.
I came for afternoon tea with my mum yesterday and it was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and informative and couldn't do enough to make our time enjoyable. The food was beautiful - we will definitely be back !
My family had lunch this week. Gorgeous food and cosy decor. We liked it so much we went back a few days later for a farmhand breakfast. Highly recommended especially if you're lucky enough to grab a table close to the working water wheel :0)

1st visit in a while , the scones are delicious amazing choice of cakes and a very varied menu,very friendly helpful staff and disabled friendly ,plenty of space for a wheelchair etc, and the sunshine made it even better x

Excellent! I was there with my family yesterday for afternoon tea, 9 of us altogether, 5 children, although most of us ordered from the normal menu. All our food was lovely, very attentive service and wonderful homely surroundings, this is one of my favourite places on the Island. I can't wait to go back!

Just popped in for a coffee late on Sunday but received a warm welcome from Fliss, they have a very reasonably priced menu and are happy to cater for all dietary requirements.
Me and my partner went for the steak night and we had such a lovely time! The food was amazing and much more than we expected! Service was fantastic and we can't wait to go again!
Cafe is situated next to Laxey wheel and open all year round we visited November and was pleased it was open as the Laxey wheel attraction was closed.
Lovely location and surroundings with flowing streams around it.
We only had hot drinks day we visited but did see hot food being served to others so couldn't really give a 5⭐ but it looked nice.

Stopped here for tea and cake during a busy Duck Race Saturday. We arrived via the Mine Train so didn’t need to worry about parking. There are however some spaces in the Laxey Wheel car park if you get stuck.
We sat inside next to the wheel which was lovely. There weren’t any menus visible anywhere so we just guessed what to have from what we could see behind the counter. After watching a few people come and go, I saw you could ask for a menu from behind the till and it sounds like there is a lot to choose from for lunch and other snacks.
The cakes we had were delicious and a very high standard. The service was relatively friendly but just a tad slow. There were bursts of busy periods so this didn’t help.
The prices were average for the island.
Lovely little cafe, serving breakfasts to start then mains along with snacks and drinks. Indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a full breakfast with pot of tea and also sausage sandwiches on another visit. Parking beside or very near so easy to get to.
I had a great breakfast here, it was a lovely day so sat out on the terrace. The breakfast was my favourite from my 10 day visit to Isle of Man and the coffee was good too. Staff were friendly. One star knocked off as the toilet wasn't very clean.

Lovely quiet tea room. Quite a few indoor and outdoor seats available. A pretty extensive menu of snack and lunches served here as well as cakes and afternoon teas.
Lovely staff and food .. clean and well organised .. good loos .. kippers were brilliant!
Everything we ordered from here was delicious and I highly recommend the roasted vegetables with goats cheese.
In terms of the menu they have a really good selection of sweet and savoury foods. I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch after visiting the nearby wheel.
