Tea room of "There was a crooked house..." fame... allegedly. Always a good selection of home baked cakes, good quality tea and hot water top up. We had well-filled sandwiches served with a salad garnish, tiny teacup of coleslaw and crisps. Bakewell and lemmon drizzle were delicious. Card machine wasn't working during our visit but adjacent Coop's have ATM/cashback facility.

Visited here for a Cream Tea, after visiting the Guildhall. We ordered our cream teas, which arrived quite quickly. The scones where of good size with cream, jam & fresh strawberries. On another table, which had ordered sandwiches, could be heard asking for a doggy bag, as there was more than they could eat. Which was given to them with out any question asked. Once inside, after going up a couple of steps, the place is small/cosy, with tables layout with table cloths.

We had some lovely freshly made sandwiches in this famous wonky landmark in Lavenham. The room is full of character, with paintings and prints by local artists all around the walls.

A fantastic little find, like sitting in someone's front room. All of the food is freshly homemade, delicious and worth every penny! (10/10 strawberries). The sandwiches are a meal in themselves!

Lovely and quaint tea room. Just right for afternoon tea. You only get one choice each of sandwiches but as they are much larger than usual, and if 2 of you can do a swop, it wasn't a problem. The scones are amazing and equally large, with wonderful clotted cream and jam. We had to bring our cake home as we were so full. Definitely worth a visit but best to book.
