Eliot Arms - Launceston - Photo album

The Eliot Arms has always been a distinctive little pub that has a reputation of great food. Me and my fiancée Julie always come here for an evening meal when we are down in Cornwall. The pub interior is a fabulous antique-esque type of decor that would not look out of place in a Harry Potter film
Amazing meal here for my birthday. Beautifully cooked steak and the portions were huge! The service was second to none and the whole pub is beautiful - quirky, quaint, loads of features and a ghost story too! My only bugbear was that they charge for soda water even to accompany wine - if You're spen
A fantastic old inn, full of history and charm. Very friendly attentive staff, amazing food, lots of choice, and first class chips. Arrive starving - the portions are enormous!! If you order a pud, share it with someone else!!! One other thing - it may be old and heavily decorated with horse brasses

Stayed the night as I was down for work. Firstly, exceptionally friendly and helpful people working and running the pub. Great simple wholesome food. I had a steak that was cooked exactly as I wanted it done. Good value, great room, great breakfast. My only complaint was that I didn't see the ghost

Staff very friendly. Attended to without delay. Good arrived in good time. Very well presented and delicious. Nothing about meal and service that we could find fault with. Highly recommended.
Staying locally we were fortunate to be able book a table last minute. We were made to feel very welcome by staff and there was a great choice of drinks to suit all tastes. A mixed grill and steak and kidney pie cooked to order. The portion size was very generous, so much so we both left a fair bit,
