Such a treat to find. The staff are efficient and friendly, the food is very good. Great little restaurant. Thanks to James for recommending it. Photos of very close surrounding area.
Excellent food & service, with generous portions, inside surprisingly spacious & quirky restaurant.
Main course & desserts for all 3 of us where excellent. And with generous portions we came away stuffed from just 2 courses.
My special of Rib of Beef in rich ale sauce with Horseradish Mash was beau
Stopped here yesterday for a few drinks and seeing as the sun was shining decided to have a few cocktails. Nice location was beautiful outside in the sun.
Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. The food was perfect. Really put a great end to our holiday in this amazing little village. Will definitely visit again just to try the lamb shank
You'll find the Portreeve Restaurant tucked out of the way,just off the main road through Laugharne.
Friendly atmosphere,can imagine this place buzzing before CoVid.
Welsh Steak and Ale pie was delicious and the Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake was to die for.

We went for Sunday lunch. We turned up on spec and although we were told it would be an hour, it took only 20minutes. The food was excellent and the service was very efficient.

Stopped off for Sunday lunch today. The team very kindly squeezed us in as we didn’t book.

The service was exceptional, we sat outside for a drink on this visit as we had our dog with us. As it started to rain we were invited inside where we witnessed possibly the best customer service I've seen for people coming to dine inside and once it stopped raining people coming to dine outside. Excellent meal in this restaurant, although a bit difficult to see from road. Open early evening so we arrived around 6pm to an almost empty place. Had an excellent meal,steak with mushrooms and cheese topping, grilled chicken. Could not fault the food, service and ambience especially the 1970's son
So SO good. Biggest lobster I've ever seen in a restaurant and perfectly cooked along with melt in the mouth rib eye steak. Just perfect.
What a lovely place to visit. Staff friendly and helpful, although it was just open after lockdown, they did their utmost to make everyone welcome. Restrictions adhered to at all times. We popped in just for a drink, but wanted to return later in the week for a meal, sadly not to be, the others in
